Relaxing moments at home in your garden - or even an open air dining place outdoor in your own garden-restaurant. Timber and wooden construction material as found in old houses when torn down may give your garden cabanas and sitting areas an artistic and antique look and feel. Creativity and skills in home carpenter work is all that is needed to create your own cozy garden cabanas. The most typical cabanas in the Philippines is the bamboo style - lowest row left - large enough for an entire family or a garden party with friends or visitors.

My preferred. A very typical Philippine style cabana all made of my preferred construction material - bamboo - with the roof made either of dried grass, coconut leaves, nipa, whatever is locally available in abundance. Such roofing is 100% waterproof and an ideal isolator in hot noon sun. This cabanas usually have 2-4 benches on 2 or all sides with a table in the center ... good enough for an entire family to eat open air in the garden.

Old timber as found in old houses when torn down can look very attractive to create such living room or garden art work.
