Kampot is a small town amidst tropical nature, huge ricefields, more than 1000 hectares of salt fields, near by mountains with jungle, a river passing by and 5km away from ocean. Hence there is lots of beautiful nature scenery and nature views to enjoy while visiting Kampot. Most of these beautiful destinations can be reached by walking, by bicycle or Tuk Tuk.
The below photo series is just the beginning of the nearest walking distance nature around the center of Kampot and nearby few kilometers outside town.
The entire Kampot region is a farmland area with lots of poor and poorest farmers and a very basic life style. Something for your own life to learn from. Happiness requires no luxury but love to grow and persist. Many of these families are healthier in their heart and spiritual essence than most rich city families in Europe or USA!
