Outdoor sports are best to grow strong - get in peace with all elements of nature and you'll be in peace with your own inner being
Your Kung Fu classes are just perfect - however 1 hr a day, 5 times weekly is just a part of your weekly training schedule to grow strong. OUTDOOR activities will create the missing balance in your life
In an earlier direct eMail to you i recommended you a whole bunch of outdoor activities to select a few from. That reply answers THIS question to me as well - eternally.
I wrote you a whole bunch of activities that are JUST for you. YOU are a spoiled little kid, like a spoiled prince or maharaja son who never really hat to work hard to get what he wanted. NOW this time to play spoiled kid is OVER - eternally OVER !!
just reread what I suggested you in my eMail - these activities are taking in account all the various factors within you as well as ALL possibilities you have NOW these days and weeks while enjoying USA:

yes in deed you should use your present financial situation to get your long needed lessons to grow strong
get involved in various courses like
swimming lessons ( am red cross )
life saving lessons ( am red cross )
life saving instructor ( am red cross )
then
water ski / barfooting
kayaking
mountain climbing / trekking
tennis
mountain biking
then
martial arts or boxing at least for all the initial 6-12 months tough fitness training
step by step from little strong to really strong
from soft to real
there is an excellent saying
it either kills you or makes you tougher
the weak ones get killed
all others turn into real men
you NEED to become adult men
there is no way to remain another 10 years like the past ten years
there will be no more reminder in the future
there may never again be such an amount of $ available to get the best trainer/coach for your long time needed lessons
by now you are about 5 years behind schedule as you have postponed this very basic lessons year after year
its now or any time in the future
its your life = your future
and no where else in this world/planet can you buy a coach for your lessons as easy as in USA where money can buy anything

you need no Thai Chi - after all day work on a computer in the office in a purely virtual and artificial world, you need OUTDOOR action and outdoor challenges amidst all the elements of nature.
the first weeks or months you may want to wine and cry - later as you START to grow strong inside and in your body you start to feel better and better day after day. just go thru all the pain of early kicking your own butt and ego - later you'll be happy and strong or death. BOTH is fine for creation.
the choice always is yours and the duty to kick ass and be tough ON YOU also always is only YOURS!!!
God bless
