this error:

"Error type System error
General description Error caused by invalid URL, incorrect setup, incorrect permission setting, etc.
Suggested action Notify webmaster with the detailed error message. "

occurs when people click on "notify hans" that's why i have removed this notificaton link in THIS forum. may be in other situations this error may occur as well.

in THIS forum I have removed that notification link and made the "notify hans" forum default behavior to make sure i get notified and no one has to wait fora reply.

the other error

"Error type Input rejection General description The information/command you sent was rejected Suggested action Go back and change the subject."

occurs when the same post has alreadyx been posted using the same subject line - hence it would be proof that posting had worked despite an error message showing up.

currently there is one of my settings causing the first error to show up
at least in THIS forum. i have to figure out which setting it is. another setting causes the second error to show up - unless the forum data files experienced a corruption during file transfer from old server to the new home-server of the Cyberspace Ashram.

an easy way to control your post beeing accepted or rejected is to go back to th eforum-index page and reload the page. if accepted, the last posted reply should appear in the forum index. currently it does even if the psting provokes an error as a.m.

I will collect sme more feedback and then compare the diferent data from different forum configuraiton to work out the solution.
