All the software/libraries/dependencies are in SUSE 10.2 DVD.
Of course, you need to have your DVD placed in your PC/Laptop to install. YAST access this DVD when you search for software through it.
Also, you should always type in the name i.e. without the version or extension details.
Means, if you want to search for libgtk-1.2.so.0 then search for gtk or libgtk
BTW, the link in the last post will help you only to understand/configure for new installation source. You can have your DVD as your only installation source, which is default if you have installed your SUSE Linux OS through it.
