A short while ago I met a man and exchanged a few minutes with him. Then I asked him: "What's your candidate ?"

His answer was nothing really surprising but rather a very typical, very average reply. His choice is presidential candidate XYZ for the simple reason that he himself is a defense contractor and thus XYZ with a war policy in Iraq to stay up to 100 years ... meaning infinite war all future ... means Billions or even Trillions of future $ for all defense industry and all defense industry contractors, subcontractors and family members. All in all a few million citizens of the USA directly or indirectly live and prosper by ongoing wars of past many decades ( Korea war, Vietnam war, Iraq, Israel and all other wars and previous / ongoing "cold wars" included. Millions of people from USA and from dozens of other countries live from war industry. First from destroying or obliterating a country or blowing a country's logistics into pieces. Later after war to rebuild the very same again - by means of loans to be spent with own country's contractors or industries.

War is one of the best industries. Whatever is blown into pieces needs to be replaced. Hence the short sight - short term benefits are two fold. Producing arms for profit first, then producing whatever the arms have destroyed. And since war countries often are involved in the second phase as well, these war countries then expect gratitude in form of contracts, interest rates on money given, oil contracts and many other favors ...

This highly educated man working as contractor for defense industry chooses his future government and thus his very own future entirely based on his short time financial profits and benefits. No consideraton of human factors. No consideration of love or global peace.l No considereation of other countries's needs and rights for freedom - rights to be left alone, rights to make own free choices even if wrong.

Choices need to be made free of any outside pressure. Choices made under pressure, specially at gun point are of no value at all. Inner or outer maturity never can be achieved by forceful means or at gun point. All countries on this planet have a few good points in their culture and a vast majority of errors and wrong doing/thinking in their traditions. If a substantial majority of any culture would be correct from the absolute spiritual point of view, then that culture / country no longer would be here on earth but home in God for good! Hence we all - all without a single exception - have to learn. The only way to learn left for us is either to learn from God by listening to God's guidance i deepest prayers - or - to learn form each other on a basis of ree learning as friends among friends.

What is valid for this man and his home country is valid for almost all world - for you as well in your own country. Most people nowadays have some sort of influence to choose their government. More and more countries have some sort of democracy - some more, some less. Whatever degree of democracy you have, it is your responsibility to be aware of long lasting needs of your country, of your entire neighborhood, of our entire planet as a whole and finally as well for God's entire creation.

Those who have a choice in selecting their government or part of it, thus have a choice for their own future. War or peace, destruction or happiness. Friends and loved ones or enemies. You can choose based on your own laziness to change your life, to change y0our job, to invest your own money and substantial efforts to learn a new future, to learn a new job, to aquire new skills and knowledge for a better future - or - you can remain attached to traditions of war and destruction, fear and defense.

The lover seeks peace, the lover seeks dialog, the lover seeks to meet his enemies - just like another ex US president did recently when visiting Israel and other parties of a long lasting war. Without meeting your enemies face to face, eyes to eyes, heart to heart, there can be absolutely no peace at all - never.

The one without love will fear his enemies. If you fear your enemies you need defense. The lover needs no defense and thus no army. The lover is willing to give peace, to give autonomy, to give independency, to give whatever is needed in exchange of what you love to receive from others. To give on the basis of honest trade 1:1. A mutual exchange of values, services or products free of profits - just for love.

As long as you need defense based on your own fears - others too may fear you and thus others too may need defense of equal or similar destructive power. A country - any country - having technology or knowledge or even experience in nuclear warfare automatically induces in other "enemies" the same need to gain equal or similar knowledge to acquire similar defensive strength. Dozens of countries have such knowledge, some even made extensive testing one practiced nuclear war on human beings. Thus all world fears such knowledge and even more those countries having extensive practice in the practical use of such destructive war technologies.

If peace is what you truly want - then peace is what you truly have to offer. Peace needs to be based on total absence of war, total absence of military development, total absence of forceful "defense of own interest" any place on this planet outside your own home country. The resources you have in your own garden are your resources. The resources in your neighbor's garden are your neighbors' resources. That's the way God made his creation.

God gave resources to all. Some resources have an apparent value - such as oil. Other resources are of more complex - almost hidden - value such as clean nature, rain forest, clean oceans, loving cultures, loving traditions, loving families. Such often hidden values visible only to loving hearts may be far above all gold and money of the entire planet. God thus gave true value to all mankind - some hidden values, some apparent values. The lesson God includes in this scenery is to make us learn honest exchange of values. We have to give in a loving way to receive whatever we need. We all need to learn a free exchange of values important to us with values important to others on the basis of true love and never on the basis of greed, forceful taking or war and economic sanctions. If you want something - come get what you need but bring your heart filled with love.

Be ready to give much more than ever in your past and in the past of your entire countries history. Be ready to make decisions for a future based on true global and thus spiritual values of life rather than on short time job security and short time profits in your current job. Become aware of your motives when you have a chance to make your own choices in your own country to select a future government - to choose your own future !

On the way to eternal peace and love we all may have to change up to 100,000% - we can start now to change our values, to re-adjust our decisions based on your innermost values dictated by our own heart. Or we can wait until destruction forces us to become aware of your true needs. Our planet is in pain - the pain we caused to God.

These very days and hours. How much pain do you need to create - pain to God, pain to God's creation, pain to God's children - to understand that we are one world, one family, a family made by God. A world made by God.

Made by God to help each other, to give freedom to each other, to honor each other's individuality, to honor each other's different approach in learnign to love, to honor each other's way of attempting to be - to be in peace in his own tiny world. To be in peace amidst his own family and smallest neighborhood. To be in harmony with God, to learn to be in harmony with God.

There is but one life - for all. ONE life including money, one world including politics, family life, jobs - all within God, all within God's world. How can we try to go to church on Sundays and screw each other on Mondays thru Saturdays ?

A planet in pain and presidential candidates still ready to "obliterate" another country thousands of miles away. Presidential candidates still ready to maintain war beyond time. Presidential candidates willing to do politics without God. Politicians running countries around the globe without love, without God ... A planet in pain and banks still exploiting the poverty or lack of knowledge of others. A planet in pain and industrial CEOs still exploiting the poverty and need of family fathers and family mothers working hundreds or thousands of kilometers away from home to support their loved ones ...

When all planet is lost, when all planet is upset and turn upside down, inside out and broken into pieces, shattered by earthquakes and Taifuns, by storms and wars - until nothing alive is left but victims. Human victims crying for help - human victims finding no human help but God.

Looking across the planet - there are but a few places that love God and look up to a loving God without being distressed first. True love, true love for God is what you show when all your life is fine, when all your life is prosperous, when all your little world is sunny.

Looking for God when all is destroyed is asking for pity, looking for God when all our friends are lost or death or damaged is asking for grace and mercy. Grace and mercy we always shall receive from God. But to love and to be loved in good times would mean to be strong in our hearts. Strong of love, love toward all. A strong lover as a child of course is far more pleasant than a weak child having destroyed the last of his God given toys in his God created world - a world that could be like paradise on earth on the way home to God.

God bless to lighten up your hearts and mind - to make you aware of one world,m one life, one love toward all amidst one family made by God. But to receive God's bliss, to perceive and feel God's love - you have to sit down, stop fighting, stop cheating, stop abusing, stop exploiting, stop killing, stop judging - sit down in peace with all. Sit down ready to love all. Sit down ready to share all with all.

Only a loving heart can perceive love, only a loving soul can find God. A heart and soul troubles by the shattered world fails to feel, fails to love, fails to feal love at all and thus fails to perceive God and his true nature of love toward all. Shattered by our own hate and envy, shattered into pieces by jealousy and greed, revenge and retaliation, by revenge and desire to control others.

While Directory Submitter 3.0 is a fine piece of useful submitter software, I noticed a severe bug in handling NON-ASCI characters such as common in several major European langages like:

1. Spanish
2. French
3. German
4. Italian
5. ... and many others such as Scandinavian, eastern Europe and others as well. Of course such bugs even more apply to all Asian languages!!!

The following characters or word-spelling causes damaged data and faulty processing:

Any combination of special Latin-1 characters such as éàèöäüçñê, and similar. The different special characters may create different problems but the data mistakes are severe!

Also all the special spelling as it occurs in a variety of Latin languages that include a single quote ' within submission profiles or anchor text may cause data loss or faulty data resulting from Directory Submitter 3.0. Since there is NO separate backup-database to restore a lost reciprocal link page. The possible damage can be and has been in my case a total loss of all reciprocal links on entire pages!

Examples of such European / Latin spellings that cause such fatal errors in data processing-output are:

1. l'amour - or - d'amour
2. mother's day
3. father's day
4. l'été
5. l'océan
6. and countless other generic and correct spelling of NON-US / NON-English languages

It might be either the single quote or the combination of single quotes with Latin characters that causes the loss of reciprocal link-page data. The precise cause is unknown, the bug is reported to the developper. If or not the bug will be fixed ASAP is unknown. If you have any international submission use of the software, it is up to you to first verify such issues for whatever software you are planning to use. Internationalization is still far behind among most NON-OpenSource projects. For many the world ends at the boundary of USA or a few english speaking countries. For my site however I enjoy some 75% NON-US traffic - mainly from de, es and fr speaking zones from some 210 countries worldwide.

Hence beware of the current limit. The software is made for US market / english ASCII character set ONLY and any use outside that very tiny boundary may result in loss of your work. Loss of work because typical modern directories have an automated link check mechanism and reciprocal links that disappear may automatically result in your directory listing being removed and thus your time consuming submission work being entirely wasted.

If you have a website strictly in clean english language using DS 3.0 then you may have zero problems at all. If however you have international pages you NEED to be aware of the risk involved using DS3.0 and the possible consequences of loosing your entire or partial reciprocal link page-data.

Reciprocal link pages

Whatever link page you have - manual or created by any reciprocal link page software such as the PHP script included in DS3.0 - there are some strict standards that you should follow to have your link page of any value to the directories you submitted.

A link page normally has a limited number of links - may be 25 links per page, the more links the less value the page to the directories.

A reciprocal link from a directory needs to be on a precise link page as most directories require you to submit the URL of your reciprocal link. Thus if you loose your link page content of several pages and restore the pages on your own, you have to make sure that the links originally from page 1 again are published on page 1, the links from page 2 again on page 2 and so on. Link verification is normally done automatically and on the precise URL indicated by you. If you move your link to another page - that means link NOT found resulting in your directory listing disabled!

Make backups - for DS3.0 more than for any other SW you ever used. The damage in loss/waste of time when losing your reciprocal links and thus your submission may be substantial.

What is valid for Directory Submitter 3.0 also may apply to many other directory submitter tools. Hence beware of the limited internationalization of NON-OpenSource software. use commercial SW with care and caution. In an open source project you normally might have several or dozens of contributing coders from many different countries around the world. many working on different platforms in different languages and character sets. Thus such bugs would be detected in early developer stage. Proprietary code projects keep all code secret and thus get stuck with all bugs and the liability, responsibility and work to solve as well. You get what you give!

Build your optimized directory list for your precise publishing needs

Before you can add new directories to your scheduled submission selection, you need to find new relevant directories!

First you have to find new directories out there on the web. By far only a few are known in common lists circulating. Even less are already integrated into common semi-automated submission software and tools. The reason is simple. The number of directories is huge - many ten thousands. The work to find new directories by the thousands and then verify, PR update and integrate / import into existing submission management tools is huge. Huge means far in excess of hundreds of additional hours. Hours no one ever will pay you. Hours of additional online work that only will be rewarded by your web stability your site eventually shall manifest after all solid work done properly.

There might be some 10'000 directories in english language out there and from that huge number you may select a few hundreds for your site plus a few dozen or more for particular special topic-subsections of your site. The total of actually useful directories OUT of your entire 10+k database you may use at max may be 1000. But having those 10+k directory URLs in your submitter database will give you an easy option to follow up and observe these directories in future PR updates of future years of your web publishing work / life.A computer assisted submission software like the one I use has the option of checking for directory 404 and updated PR just for a single click - after that single click your computer may WORK nonstop for MANY hours to update your directory database - for free ! A work you NEVER could do manually - even for thousands of $ - because manually such monthly or more frequent verification may used hundreds of hours each time. A waste of time you most likely never can afford because you love to be successful, thus you need to be efficient and professional!

While in some of the worlds largest webmaster forum many people say that there are no 10'000 directories out there - there are simple methods to prove that such statements are short sighted and simply WRONG. But certainly correct is that by far only a small share of ALL existing directories are of any real promotional value. But looking at the BILLIONS of NON-english sites like major Asian languages such as Japanese, Taiwanese, Korean, Chinese, Thai, etc there are thousands or more valuable and useful non-english directories valuable to millions of site owners.

Use tools and official resources to find a more accurate guess of how many directories actually exist. The worlds most popular professional directory software certainly is PHP Link Directory - until a few days ago I found a statement:

"phpLD is now the most widely used directory script on the internet. Our customers have tested the script on over 50,000 websites, ..."

Even if many might be down - that means that from one directory software alone might be 10k or more directories on the web. In addition there are many other software packages doing same or similar jobs. Thus on an ever growing www in all countries combined are definitely far more than 10'000 directories. Some of them might be just ideal for your own site promotion.

Currently and commonly circulating directory lists usually are limited to english language sites / directories. English being a global language - there still is a tiny majority of the world population speaking english. USA market is 5% of the global market. There is a need for most of us to find the directories of our own native language or of additional languages we master sufficiently to publish.

How to find the directories of your own country or language ?

Here a few valuable tips that help you to create your custom made directory list of your own language or country. You need to know the common word for directory in the language you need directories and you need to master Google search syntax to get your results. Here below a few examples for German, Italian and Russian directories. Of course NOT all sites having a directory have named the folder or domain in a proper SEO optimized word, nor do all foreign language sites use their language TLD. Hence for the below Russian example you change your Google search syntax to another TLD commonly used in that country and repeat the search again.

Below are a few example searches for native language directory URLs to be googled:

1. site:.de inurl:webkatalog
2. site:.it inurl:directory
3. site:.ru inurl:Каталог
4. site:.com inurl:Каталог

That's the easy work above. What comes now are hundreds of hours of manual surfing on a REALLY fast www access, best using Firefox in tab mode and click / open a dozen or more of your found search results at a time. Then physically VIEW the site to see if it really is a directory, if yes does it look public and is that site a quality site. To have such data at a glance you definitely need alexa data and PR displayed. Firefox users know how to get both to work professionally and efficiently.

If you outsource above work of manual surfing all potential directory URL, then you are a fool because you are outsourcing the success of your site and future. Do it yourself, work day and night, if necessary weeks or more! ALL the important work in life always should be done all by your own. You KNOW your site, you know your future goals and priorities, you only know the quality requirements you have for yourself and your own life.

If a site is a potential directory for your later submission.! Later because to submit just to a single directory at a time makes no sense, its a waste of time. You need to have records of your submission, you need to have a control and records about WHICH page - i.e. domain or one of your many major subsections you submitted to a directory. You need a method of verification, a method to instantly publish your reciprocal links if required. To do the latter by FTP would be simply ridiculous. FTP takes many seconds at least or more. Each time for each reciprocal link published. Most modern directory submission management software verifies that reciprocal link URL on your site immediately following your "submit" click. Hence that second the link needs to be online/live in most cases.

The wrong directories used may create a bad neighborhood for you

As a professional web publisher you know of Google's criteria of being in a good neighborhood. Else study the topic! If others link to you, that's fine. No matter what site links to you, there never can be a penalty because you have no real control of people linking to you. But if YOU link to a bad neighborhood, if you link to poor quality sites, to questionable sites, to warez sites, to xxx sites, to hobby sites, to hobby blogs, then you are compared to the quality level of the sites YOU love - because you link to sites you love, do you ? As a general rule you only should link to sites you appreciate, you know, you have visited, used or verified yourself, to reputable sites. HIGH Googel PR may be an indicator that Google values that site.

For that reason you should be selective when choosing your directory list you want to submit because some of them may require a reciprocal link - a link from your site to their site. OR some of them may require a link from your site to a 3rd party site. That's also called 3 way linking strategy - A links to B, B links to C and C links to A to avoid reciprocal links. That latter you have to be careful. Look at the domain name and if necessary at the site before placing a link. If the site is questionable, then you may as well refrain from using that particular directory asking you to link to to stay your self in a good neighborhood.

To be in a high quality neighborhood also may affect your overall advertisement revenue. Serious professional companies love to promote / sell their services or products on serious and quality oriented professional sites. The difference might be an eCPM of a few $ only vs a 2 digits eCPM or near that. Being quality oriented professional vs hobby publisher may make the difference between real and life time success vs failure for life!

Make up your mind, make your choices - go professional and prove your professional attitude. Be ready to work harder, longer, more and more precisely. What you learn now and practice now is what you adapt as an eternal habit to do in all you do, in your family and love life as well for all eternity!

This file is specially created for re-import in Directory Submitter 3.0 and is of NO use to user of OTHER submitter SW users ! If you use XYZ software, then you have your reason and thus you also may find the motivation, power and $ needed to create your own custom list for your own SW chosen.

Warning: Directory Submitter 3.0 working only for English language / ASCII characters

If your pages and the directories you submit to are strictly English language and use strictly ASCII character set without any Latin characters such as the many European languages, Eastern European languages or Asian, Central or Southamerican languages - then DS3.0 might be perfect for you. If however you come from outside USA or publish for the global community in any NON-English language, then you should first carefully read and make up your mind before deciding for a particular Submitter tool.

What is definitely valid for Directory Submitter 3.0 may also be valid for many other tools lacking integration of internationalization by proper use of the full UTF8 and Latin character set.

Here is what a Directory Submitter software will do for you - or better - what the software these days does for me and my Cyberspace Ashram. If the software is good for me as an old publisher, then I guess it also is good for all new web publishers as well.

You'll increase your site popularity in record time - because the software does all much faster than what you would have to do all manually to really succeed. In addition the software developers do the searching for new directories for you - that's an additional time and thus money saving for you!

You'll receive more traffic by having a better position in search engines, like Google, Yahoo and Msn. How much more depends on how much traffic or how excellent / poor your present SERPS and link popularity for your site is. For newbies - i.e. sites having just started the past months or few years the benefit is much greater by % than for my 11 year OLD Cyberspace Ashram ( I started on free hosting April 1997 ). But - I love my own efficiency-mathematics, I love to invest in my own business or work!

A new website may 5 fold or even ten fold its traffic within the first 2-6 months. Hence some 500 to 1000 % more traffic. But most of those newbie sites start with dozens to hundred of unique visitors per day and struggle their way UP to a few hundred UV / day after a year or two. If my vintage site gets by any clean procedure an additional 10-15% traffic increase out of already existing 15'000+ unique visitors/day - that means my additional benefit is 1500 to 2250 unique visitors per day MORE. Hence you may understand why some reviews mention a multiple traffic, while myself I see a small but substantial improve in overall results. I did 11 years exactly what the tool does, just a tiny little less and always at the expense of my fun-time or time OFF in life.For my site such extra investment to get another 10-20% additional traffic certainly is an excellent ROI.

You'll stop wasting time manually submitting to link directories by completely configuring / editing your site/page profiles and then semi automatically fill in all the forms. Alternative lifestyle means a life with technology - but far less technology as currently employed. True alternatives to such current life styles must include a strict selection of what serves our greed or laziness and what truly is necessary for the best possible health of all, happiness of all and mutual peace in freedom of all.

Hence a happy life may require much more professional qualifications and a higher readiness to actually and physically work than hundreds of millions currently do. Instead of having others - cheap labors - do all our dirty work, demanding work or dangerous work, an alternative life style does include the need that we all are willing and capable to do all we want to be done on our own. Poverty is a complex situation and has several root causes depending on precise human situations. That also applies for poverty in the Philippines as well of course.

Here I will focus on poverty as a result of lack of motivation resulting from exploitation by employers.

To be motivated you need to see real benefits. To be motivated to work better, to work more or to work harder would require incentives. Since much in life on earth is about money, a powerful motivation would be to earn propportionally more for greater efforts. That means you work double - you earn double.

Motivation to work at all may be missing if incentives for work provided are less than what is needed to a decent living. If you work and work and before next payday all money is gone. If you work and each month you encounter day with open bills, with hungry stomach, with hungry children or malnurished children. If you work and each time you fall ill you are missing the money for a minimal medical care and medication needed .... Then motivation vanishes!

If you observe that your employer is doing better and better each month, each year. If you observe that your employer's family enjoys a happy life, enjoys vacation, best schooling, nice clean dresses, hobbies and toys, even luxury like cars, computers, ... then the beginning of social injustice starts to occur deep inside a human heart. The result of social injustice is the loss of social peace and the split up of society into poor and rich ones living in 2 different worlds in the same country - the world of luxury and the world of poverty. The feeling of being abused or exploited by employer for his personal wellbeing starts to grow and the motivation to work disappears more and more.

To do well in life or business is a basic human right for all. For a business to be successful would be a normal goal - however the success of each and every business should definitely flow into the lives and pockets of all participating employees proportionally. If business doubles income, then employees also should double income.

If business doubles, expands, improves and all or most employees still are at or below minimum wages below minimum life standard, then motivation of workers is getting lost, motivation for extraordinary efforts are gone, loyalty toward employer may end.

A business is like an extended family. All should do well if business goes well. All should be made aware that all may go wrong if attitude and quality of work goes wrong as well. All should be made aware of their own co-responsibility for the outcome of all. That co-responsibility only exists if all also benefits from all the fruits of success.

The entire uplift of a nation or entire planet is the result of work - hard work, quality work and at times dangerous, illmaking or dirty work. All those doing that work are entitled to a honest share of the wealth accumulated by that work. All mankind being involved in that chain of hard working industrial workers or farm workers need to be entitled to a truly happy life free of any troubles.

Love only can dissolve the current global situation of rich ones exploiting poor ones. Love only can dissolve all different causes of poverty. Love in a country's administration is needed to end corruption and to treat all population equally independent of their capability to bribe administration or provide favors in kind in exchange of business permissions granted.

To succeed in business employees are needed. There are but a few millionaires on earth having obtained all their wealth as a single person, without secretary, without drivers, without car repair mechanics, without construction workers building their homes, ... To become aware of the full dependency on labor force, on qualified and unqualified workers is essential to understand that ongoing greed, abuse or exploitation of employees by employers or business owners sooner or later leads to a total collapse of industries as a result of lack of motivation to work for a life in poverty.

While Hotel owner Hans Hofmann ( and family ) enjoy annual vacation in Thailand and / or Switzerland - his employees barely can call their living human. Have a look at the small housing. Each of the 3 families has a home of approximately 4x4 to max 5x5 meters total area for the entire family. The entire neighboorhood is similar. Next the the area - may be some 30-40 meters away an unofficial trash dump area down into the nearby riverbed dry during this season.

A business owner with a total annual business gross income of approximately 30 Million to 40 Million PHP ( 750'000-1'000'000 Million US$ ) who fails to pay even the very low minimum salary fixed by the law - just out of pure greed ...... It very definitely is much better to expand and grow slower in business but to always grow all together. To grow by sharing wealth honestly among all contributing to the growth of a business. No business in this world, no hotel, no restaurant, no factory ever could compete or prosper to such level as this Hotel / Restaurant without the dozens of employees. Without employees a Restaurant or Hotel is a tiny family business for a few guest or friends but never a business receiving in Restaurant and Hotel some 30'000 to 50'000 guests total each year for breakfast, lunch, diner or accommodation.

How can such a business owner ever be truly happy in his own life, if he goes day after day to bed knowing well that all of his employees have financial problems, lack proper food each day, lack money for health care and proper school or professional education for children, family members or self. Even less money for a vacation .... Ruthlessness often leads to short sightness in life. Rich see but their own ever growing needs and the less happiness the rich ones experience the more gadgets and toys in life they may need to compensate for true love in life.

In such cases as this Swiss Chalet case - it is quiet safe to say that most of the business expansion and most of the living comfort and vacation are paid directly from money withhold months after months from all the underpaid staff. Wealth and comfortable life in luxury at the direct expense of even most basic simple life of his employees!

This situation is no exception in the Philippines and in many other countries such as India, China, Haiti, Central and South America and entire Africa. There are far more than ONE Billion people living as above and a few hundred Million even worst. The fact that hundreds of Millions are abused and exploited by rich ones however is neither a justification nor an excuse for such exploitation. All humans are made by God, all humans are made to love and to be loved. All humans are to be treated with dignity and love - by all!

It certainly is much easier for hard working poor ones such as the 3 sacked Swiss Chalet Restaurant employees to find open doors to God than it will be for the Hotel / Restaurant owner. There is no place for greed and selfishness at home in God and here and now on earth is the place to learn all those most basic lessons to love each other and to treat each other with dignity and love.

What can we all do to avoid such exploitation ?

Strictly use only facilities and products that knowingly pay honest and good wages, that treat employees with dignity and love. Withdraw your patronage from any business where you know of any kind of staff abuse or staff exploitation. Withdraw your support in full from any country where you know such situations to be tolerated by the government. And finally - be always ready to pay more than minimum prices. Refrain from selecting cheapest travel, cheapest accommodation or cheapest products and services unless you are yourself willing to work for lowest salaries. Lowest salaries means less than 5-6 US $ per day. If you demand 5$ per hour, then you also should be willing to pay 5 $ per hours for any and every service or products you ever need or use in your entire life. Offer to other exactly to the cent the same amount per hour as you expect to be paid for all your work, products or services created by you.

Hans Hofmann, owner Restaurant Hotel Swiss Chalet, Angeles City, Philippines vs his sacked employees

The last hearing at the Dept of Labor and Employment on April 4, 2008 resulted in nothing at all. No honest cleanup of the case, No honest payout of overdue backwages. No sign if integrity from the owner of Swiss Chalet. No help from the DOLE in Papanga.

Instead Hans Hofman now will be presented by his legal counsel and apparently plans to further delay the case. The last paper presented showed the tactics of causing delay to expire the 3 girls financial means and thus to indirectly force them to accept what ever monkey deal is offered to them independent of law and legally entitle minimum wages.

The below lines show that even the legal counsel is unprepared and has no time to really care for a human solution in this case. Instead the tactics are to delay the case to gain time and to further cause expenses to the 3 sacked employees:

That means that as of 2008-01-07 his counselor was informed about the case and details and thus had plenty of time to be prepared and have his position paper ready on time.

Of course it may be possible that Hans Hofman or his counselor expected the 3 girls to accept any earlier monkey business deal - offers made by Hans Hofman via his representant at the DOLE, offers far below the real missing/outstanding backwages.

While the law for minimum wages applicable in the Philippines is clear and precise - it becomes more and more apparent that such law only exists on paper to satisfy international relationships. In reality there is no protection for regular citizens. Right becomes who has money to fight for his legally granted rights. The law itself gives no protection at all and thus the law in itself is of no value at all.

The simple fact that rich people, rich business men need a law to regulate minimum wages is already a sad fact. In normal human society wages should be regulated by honesty, by the heart of all employers. The fact however that rich people even simply ignore any law regulating minimum wages and finally appear to successfully bypass any clear and precise minimum wage-law set up by the government shows how corrupt ( corrupt as defined by Webster ), how ill, how ridiculous the entire legal system of such countries is. Philippines are no exception in this published case. There are dozen of other, smaller or larger countries with very comparable situations in Africa, South America, Caribbean Islands and all over Asia / South East Asia!

Exploitation of average citizens, exploitation of the regular working force by the richest appears to be considered a "white collar crime" and appears normal in many countries, specially in so called "3rd world countries" or "banana republics".

This is but one out of thousands and more cases involving Million of employees and thousands of employers across the planet that shows how ruthless the entire financial market and money oriented business has become on this planet.l Human values have degraded to near zero in hundreds of millions of "humans".

It is sad to need laws for the protection of people - it is even far more serious if such basic laws fail to be implemented by authorities, by governments. As a last resort in this case - there is the Office of the Ombudsman to protect its citizen in case of administrative failure or corruption of the legal system or administrative system.

On Wed, 19 Mar 2008 02:43:24 PHT I have formally requested Assistance from the Office of the Ombudsman in this case of apparent failure of the Department of Labor and Employment to implement the law of minimum wages and to provide for proper follow up of such law by having all 3 sacked employees properly refunded for backwages and any additional entitles fees. The case still is pending at the Office of the Ombudsman. The days following my eMail request have been holy week OFF days for administration and thus there might be a brief delay. However the request for assistance has been duly received by the "Protector of the People" on Wed, 19 Mar 2008 07:45:55 and a follow up eMail also has been duly received on:

By 3 respective readers at the Office of the Ombudsman. There is hope that help may be given. In fact if such help is denied for whatever reason, it would be the final and absolute proof that the entire government and legal system in the Philippines is but a true joke and nothing short of ridiculous. It is clear that no regular employees, no regular citizen ever would have the financial means to take a counselor and go thru the lengthy - until now 8 hearings at the DOLE Papanga with zero result - procedure to obtain what the law promises - dignity and honest payment for work provided for the richest ones.

The ultimate responsibility for this entire situation however is with Hans Hofmann owner of Swiss Chalet - a ruthless employer who once said to me face to face in German language: "Einem Chef muss es immer viel besser gehen als den Angestellten". This is a very brutal statement in Swiss language, ( a true literal translation that includes the full meaning is impossible. But a literal translation might be: A boss must always be much better off than the employees - a statement of arrogance by a ruthless business man empty of any even smallest love. Such attitude is totally atypical for Switzerland where we all enjoy a traditional system of wages that allows a decent living to all employees of all trades and all qualification levels.

The case goes on until a final solution is found - whatever solution. Either a defeat of the entire human aspect of an entire country or the re-establishment of dignity and law for the employees. The case is far beyond the 3 sacked Swiss Chalet employees - its about all remaining employees at the Restaurant / Hotel Swiss Chalet apparently still working below legal minimum wages, it also is about hundreds of more employees in other business here in Balibago district or other provinces - many working since years far below legal minimum wages. It's ultimately about the implementation of a legal minimum wage law for the protection of employees from exploitation.

The final long time consequences of such exploitation by ruthless business owners are heavy and most serious in nature. Lack of money in millions of households results in.

• Missing regular medical treatment and care. The official "free medical treatment" for poor ones is in-existent ! Hence any kind of medical treatment needs either to be paid or medical care is omitted or done with borrowed money
• Missing money for a complete basic school education for all resulting in diminished or wasted opportunities for a better future
• Malnutrition as a result of insufficient funds for fresh fruits, fresh vegetables needed by breastfeeding mothers and growing up children.
• Missing money for continuing education, for improvements in life, for hygiene in households

What can you do in such or similar cases of exploitation ?

There are a number of most powerful methods to change this world for a better future. Whatever means you chose, you need to strictly select peaceful but powerful means - such as for example:

• You can personally intervene in all cases you learn about - just like I did in this a.m. ongoing case.
• You can eMail, FAX or write in all other cases you learn about - always contact directly the boss of a business - any low level employee always is a waste of your valuable time!
• You can blog and publish cases known to you
• You can post or link about such cases in travel forums or business forums related to the nature of that particular business
• You can publish by any means cases known to you
• You can most definitely stop to patron any business, any product, any service coming from any source or business or country knowingly exploiting or abusing or endangering employees or citizens!!!

In God we all are of equal value - one family. Here on earth are those who lost that basic human behavior to treat each other with dignity and love! Those who failed to learn to love all and to honestly share with all and help all may find no way home to God but another way back to this very planet to repeat those basic lessons of human behavior. SEO - Search Engine Optimization - is the science to present, to publish text or content of any kind including graphical content in a way easy to read and process by search engine bots for proper indexing and for successful SERPS - search engine rankings of an individual page.

Onpage SE optimization

SEO consists of various parts in onpage optimization:

1. meta tags - title, description and for minor search engines also keyword tags
2. h1, h2, h3 titles in content
3. bold text ( may be also italic text ? )
4. descriptive precise alt tags for all images

Proper SEO techniques can never be published as an absolute set of rules. Search engines are in dynamic rapid evolution process and improve year after year to compensate for all attempts to cheat search engines or to counteract any attempts to optain higher than normal rankings in search engine index.

Hence instead of telling you exactly what to do - I may layout a few key areas you need to study and understand on your own. As a publisher you should use search engines with precise keywords, then look at the results presented by all search engines important to you and understand the relationship of your keywords used and the search results presented in return to your search.

I recently purchased an SEO eBook - some 47 US$ - well worth the money for one simple chapter alone. To research the web and to analyze search engines takes time, lots of time, hundreds of hours or more of most careful observation - lots of common sense combined with real knowledge about SE and the Internet. Hence sometimes you may have to invest in expensive software or books to save time and to compensate for your lack of time or lack of experience or both.

That one chapter was a clear careful result of a professional observation of search results vs on page optimization by publishers.

Search engine rankings depend on both. The above listed 4 onpage optimizations. These 4 points ALL are an absolute minimum and MUST for each and every page of your entire site. Each page should be different from any other page. Each title, each meta description, each image alt tag should be unique on your entire site!!

The additional off-page optimization has to do with backlinks, with social bookmark links, with directory entries in high reputation directories and with backlinks coming from high reputation websites directly relevant to your page topic or site topic.

Until last year - after Google implemented the PR system, millions of site owners and webmasters immediately started to cheat that system of backlinks by purchasing/selling links, by link exchange systems and link farming. Google of course adapted to such criminal practices of cheating search engine results and punished heavily all link selling / trading / farming sites. Many of those sites dropped so drastically in PR and SERPS that most of their traffic is permanently lost. Cheating never pays off. Honesty always leads to success!

Backlinks - offpage SEO

Backlinks can be obtained by 2 major honest methods:

• register your site or matching important subsections of your site in relevant reputable directories. this method is done by you, may require lots of time and may need to be repeated again as directories appear and disappear continuously.
• obtaining organic natural backlinks form other site owners or blog owners who have successfully used your published material and as a result of gratitude or happiness about your own work link back to your page or site or quote a small paragraph and link back. This method is a natural method occuring as a result of many years of continuous publishing of unique content helpful and valuable to others.

Backlinks only are of any value if the links come from a site with high reputation and high Google PR. The minimum PR considered by Google for the computation of your own site / page PR is unpublished and a trade secret by Google. Most likely any site or page with a PR less than 3 may remain unconsidered and thus worthless to your own site. However keep in mind that pages / sites linking to you having a PR of 1 or 2 today, may have a PR of 4 or higher in a few years from now IF that site owner / publisher is serious about hsi work and keeps on publishing and thus increasing his own site popularity. Hence in a few years from NOW, your site PR may steadily increase simply as a result of sites linking to you doing the same as you do - work harder, work better and keep producing unique quality content!

Meanwhile with increased popularity of social bookmarks - those links from social bookmarking sites such as Del.icio.us ( Yahoo ), Digg, stumble and others also seem to be considered by major search engines.

These above off-page optimization can partially be directly influenced by you - directory submission - and partially are a result of site-age while maintaining top quality productivity to increase global satisfaction among more and more readers of your site.

The result of off-page optimization - backlinks from reputable sites or directories - may be seen when looking at sites / pages appearing in search results having no apparent onpage optimization and still being placed in top SERPS - even Nr 1.

From the eBook I purchase I quote the one example "click here". A Google search will show you that the Nr 1 page has no such text in their entire meta tags at all, yet still ranks #1. The result is the number of sites linking with such anchor text to that site.

The onpage optimization also may vary depending on niche, on topic / keywords and number of competing pages for a particular keyword. To see the top requirements to be #1 in a highest competition keyword. As highest competition keyword I would consider keywords with definitely more than 100'000'000 pages returned by a Google search !

To rank #1 or at least top 10 in such a single top competition single keyword usually requires BOTH - online optimization PLUS a huge number of relevant backlinks. Hence such extreme popularity usually is the result of MANY, many years of reputable quality work until you become an authority in a particular keyword.

Let's look at a few example. Search in Google and study the search results to understand the kind of onpage optimization required to optain a top 10 or better top 3 SERPS.

Here a few high traffic, high competition keywords that show you all you need to study and understand your own SEO efforts required to succeed:

• love - about 1,870,000,000 competing pages
• god - about 447,000,000 competing pages
• roses - about 108,000,000
• flowers - about 278,000,000

Looking at above Google results - at least the top 20-30 results - will show you that all those highest competition top results usually have a few factors in common. These TOP SEO factors include in addition to OFF-page optimization:

• 1 single keyword only appears in most results in title
• 1 single keyword only appears in description
• most top sites have a domain name containing that keyword as part of the entire domain name string
• 1 single keyword additionally may occur in the URL ( path/file name ) of the resulting page

The older a site - the more natural backlinks accumulate and the less onpage optimization is needed to obtain a top 10 SERPS!

Semantics in search results

Another SEO factor to consider now and for all future is Google's capability to use semantics technology successfully in their current search index.

Search in Google the keyword SEO and to see that Google highlights the word SEO as well as its full definition Search engine optimization in its results. Hence modern technology associates all relevant keywords into computing the final SERPS of a search. Another example of semantics technology used in creating search results is the keyword blossoming flowers. Google result will show highlighted results with the following words being highlighted / considered in creating the search results:

1. flowers
2. blossoming
3. blooming
4. blossom

Above number 2-4 all meaning the same - hence all 3 - blossom, blossoming, blooming are considered in your content to create the final SERPS. Such modern semantics technologies leaves you more freedom in describing a topic by using all commonly correct names or definitions instead of one single keyword only. There are many topics in life that can be described exactly using different words resulting in the very same meaning.

Web publishing requires knowledge of good style, grammar and correct words to create best SERPS in addition to age of site to obtain generic backlinks liftign you more and more toward top SERPS in single keywords.

Hence - young publishers should forget about getting instant high PR, but keep focusing years and years on learning to improve quality of unique content and keep on publishing more and more day after day year after year.

Web publishing is a modern way to share valuable information, to distribute on a global level valuable knowledge, to make available most valuable free online tutorials about all kind of topics important to millions of readers for professional benefit as well as for personal, medical or spiritual benefit. Web publishing is a most serious profession just as to publish a major technical or medical magazine or newspaper would be. Hence webpublisher is for experienced skilled professionals with years or better decades of professional experience. Results or return on investment in form of advertisement revenue such as AdSense or other advertising may start to pay more and more for all efforts made to share value with all world. One of the current presidential candidates defined outsourcing as "when we lose jobs to other countries". That of course is a totally wrong view of reality. We never lose jobs as a result of outsourcing. Jobs are outsourced because we refused to do that kind of jobs for the competitive salary available for those jobs! Outsourcing is done by the industry as a result of local employees asking too much salary or as a result of local employees refusing to do dirty jobs, dangerous work or boring work.

It is the local labor force that is the cause for outsourcing. outsourcing is done for purely economic reasons. For reasons of finding other people doing the very same job cheaper. If all local workforce is willing to do all work that occurs in life, including boring jobs, dirty or dangerous jobs. When all citizens of a country is willing to do all work at a price affordable by the global market.

Hence to preserve local job or employment opportunities as much as possible, we all have to understand that there are global limits about how expensive products can be to remain affordable. As a result we have to be willing and ready to:

• do all the dirty, dangerous and boring mass production work as part of our all duty toward entire planet and our entire nation
• do be willing to work at prices affordable to all
• be willing to adapt our qualifications to the need of industry and needs created by society
• accept that all are of equal value and no one on earth is worth less to do those jobs we consider boring or dangerous
• if we as a nation want a particular industry - then we should perform all tasks, all work independent of wages, danger or pollution involved ourselves in our own country
• whatever pollution or waste an industry creates also will need to be completely recycled in the country that waste or pollution was produced

No industry moves into a strange, unknown and sometimes risky foreign, exotic country if a truly reasonable solution remains available in its own home-country. It is the greed - greed from employees for ever increasing salaries as well as the greed of investors for ever increasing profits that creates the imbalance between payment potential and payment requests within its home-plant that ultimately creates the need of the management to search for cheaper locations to outsource some or all work into a cheaper and still affordable country.

The options created by ever increasing wage demands by local work force results in:

We pay as demanded by employees or labor union

but

Part of the jobs have to be exported / outsourced into cheaper production countries to create the profitability needed to pay for increasing local wages

As an industrial nation we have a duty toward the entire remainder of the planet. We have to keep the dirty work within our own boundaries, we have to dispose and recycle all trash, all waste, all pollution in our own country where it was originally produced. If we enjoy the high paying, challenging jobs of an industry, then we also have to accept to complete all unqualified, dirty, boring or dangerous jobs as well. The shadow side of an industry is part of the sunny side of each industry.

That only can be achieved if 100% of all native workforce spends some time, some years in all those unpleasant and low paying positions along mass production production lines, assembly lines, dirty chemical jobs, etc. If heavily underpaid labor in Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, India, Haiti, China or any other low cost country can do such jobs, then we too may have to learn to develop that deepest humbleness to do whatever is needed - to do whatever needs to be done.

The proven readiness to do all jobs ourselves prevents the need for "illegal" employees that ONLY are finding jobs because most of us are "too good"n to do such jobs at those wages paid for such jobs done. The proven readiness to do absolutely all work at whatever salary is offered by a particular industry, when needed and how needed will assure that almost all currently outsourced jobs can or could be done in our own country.

Such is valid for all those "first world countries" like the many central European countries and USA that currently outsource to India, China, South East Asia and many other countries.

No politician can change our attitude. The only to have the power to change that current situation of outsourcing resulting of loss of jobs is within each and all of us. We have to change our attitude, we have to learn to work again for real money to preserve the sunny side of life. If and as long as we reject the shadow side of industries, we also shall lose the sunny side of that very industry !!!

It is our own true love for all mankind, for all planet that only can create the readiness within to work at lower wages when lower wages only are affordable by potential customers. We all are customers - we all have to lower our demands and increase our giving to create a balance between love given and love received. That law is valid for spiritual love as much as for industrial exchange or two way flow of goods, services or finances.
