Hence to answer the question is simple = 3 days!

How do you launch a new web site most efficiently ?

Here the precise procedure step by step - no secret just precise procedure needed and help from outside.

1. Have pages validated - code validation always at highest authority - hence W3.ORG
2. Have CSS validated - again W3.org
3. Have links checked - see firefox web developer toolbar for all validation 1-3
4. All pages up and tested - in your firefox browser
5. Submit to major search engines manually - i.e. Yahoo, Google, MSN
6. Post an article in a major blog with RSS feed that is registered since long with all the major RSS / blog directories - in this case I did the blog post since my RSS feeds are registered with all known RSS and blog directories and visited daily by many RSS feed bots
7. Submit to some 20 or so minor SE - this may bring no traffic, but increase your PR and above all get the attention of all major SE to bring their bots faster to your new and unknown site
8. The single most important and most powerful tool to launch a new web site is the blog/RSS news release from an older website with high PR ranking. This is the fastest way to get within minutes or hours into the NEWS directories from where Google grabs your URL. Hence for normal site owners this may require a friend who trusts you and posts a press release in his blog. Hopefully you have been all life useful to thousands of others to get such a press release via blog/RSS.

This now is the initial launch - now it is time to use day after day some time to create one or several new chapters to prove the search engines that you add new value and maintain your site. And you will also use some extra time to find more generic search engines and directories to submit or register your site.

With the worlds largest directories such as DMOZ, Google ( is updated from DMOZ ), Yahoo directory and a few others - you should first way another few weeks or months until substantial quantities of true original, unique content is online.

To get real traffic volume - produce more content, day after day, create unique content and use correct SEO techniques to please the requirements of all bots and SE.
