In many situations of life we expect gratitude from others. On special days like Mother's Day or father's Day many parents expect gratitude from their children. Bosses expect gratitude from their employees when salary is paid out. There are many other situations of life where the majority expects "thank you" or other forms of gratitude to be expressed.

Thank you is food for the ego - a happy smile, true happiness in the recipient however is food for a truly loving soul. Ad happy soul radiates something infinitely more powerful and more valuable than a Billion "thank you" or other forms or expressions of gratitude ever could produce!

While it always is nice to receive - whatever - money, goods, gifts, recognition, benefits, votes, points, etc, it is of absolutely equal importance and value to have some one to give to !! What would be the sense and value of life ...

• if we had no one to share our abundance
• if we had no one to create abundance for
• if we had no one to buy gifts for
• if we had no one to share our success with
• if we had no one to create progress for
• etc ...

Next time to give or share or do something FOR others - children or adults, customers or family members - feel the difference. Look at the recipients eyes and face, see if he/she is happy and smiling. No matter the words, if a smile and true expression of real happiness is missing, then whatever we gave or did was of no true value at all.

To be of value to others is a privilege and absolutely no duty at all. To be empty of true value for others, even worst to be a burden for others is a burden for our own soul and heart. To be a burden for others is finally going to destroy our own life and happiness in life until death may relief the others.

To be of value and relief to others however is a God given blessing and privilege. Mankind has intellect and common sense to create, to invent, to produce benefits, relief and happiness for others and in others' life. Tat happiness we create in others is the only true return on investment. That ROI however depends on the motives we had when creating the products or services for others. If money and profit margin is all we have in mind, then our heart has been empty of love during our work and thus our return on investment will be empty of love as well.

Money can create happiness - but it fully depends on why we gave money and how we gave money. If you can give substantial amounts to unknown persons just for the sake of creating relief in life or for solving problems that are created by missing money such as doctor bills, missing food or open rental bills, etc then money too can be a blessing for all others. But most of the time someone in God's creation could solve the very same problem and create the very same happiness and relief without having to resort to money. Often the very same happiness could have been created by an act of grace and mercy, by forgiveness, by generosity from the bottom of the heart.

As long as you need names of the recipients, as long as you tell the recipient your name - most or all of your actions may be directed and controlled by your ego. If all your actions become nameless - just for love, just for a happy smile in return, then your actions have become actions of love.

Soon is Mother's Day and somewhere on this planet Mothers Day is any time now. When celebrating such special days like Mother's Day or Father's Day we should remember that to be mother a woman needs a man. To be father a man needs a woman. To be parents and enjoy Mother's Day or Father's day - both partners need children.

Why celebrate separate Mother's Day and Father's Day ?

Such separation is the result of building and maintaining ego. We adults are hungry for love, we adults search for a matching and loving partner. As husband and wife we wish to enjoy children because children are like flowers in our lives.

There can be no father without the mother and vice versa. Above all there can be no parent's cay without children. Since we parents invited children into our lives - best is to celebrate a Family Day!

It certainly is nice to celebrate Mother's Day or Father's Day but it definitely would be much better, much more loving and more spiritual to celebrate all together Family Day. Either on the currently fixed dates for mothers and fathers day or even better in our daily life all year long. Love needs recipients and sources. Happy children are sources of love for all of us - also for God. God created mankind because he loved to have children. God enjoys having children - specially when God sees and feels that all children are loving each other and make each other happy all year long - eternally.

We should be fully aware that our own daily happiness depends on others to be here for us all. On others to accept and absorb our love and return a happy smile for our love given. Our happiness also depends on others loving us from the bottom of their heart. To love us we need to accept the lovers as equally valued, as divine beings equal to us - made to love, made to be loved.

Children came into our very life to be a sunshine for us, to be like flowers in our busy corporate life of career and money thinking industrial life. Children came into our life to teach us the very basics of happiness. To teach us how little actually is needed to be really happy. Children still know how to be happy in a most natural and simple environment free of technical gadgets and toys. Children still know how to enjoy nature and how to play with nature. Nature is God made just like all creation. Nature is our God made playground. Nature included all plant life, all mineral life, water and aquatic life as well as all animals and humans alike.

In times of global financial and economic crisis such as these current and past many months - we all should review our lifestyle and return back to a simple but truly God and nature oriented life that allows us all to be happy by making happy. What is the purpose and value of profits if happiness of all gets lost. What is the purpose and value of industrial progress if nature dies more and more - if all planet is in peril ?

We all can easily survive happily on this planet - without high tech but with love and a healthy and strong nature. God created a most complex nature yet to be discovered and understood by mankind. God's nature is a resource of healing power and enjoyable, fun adventures.

To celebrate future Mothers Days - may be we all combine all days together as a Family Day - send love cards to our children if far away, as well as love cards for Mother's Day and Father's Day - all on the very same day, any time during the year to show our mutual love as well as to prove our deepest understanding of our family values.

Let's celebrate Family Day and include our heavenly father as well!

A Family Day is celebrated in the heart. Many of our grown up children may be far away. Far away to learn and conquer this world, to grow and to accumulate experiences needed to mature and eventually return home to God by the end of this incarnation. Hence an essential part of being loving mother and loving father is to let go, to give freedom, to accept responsibility for our own education and exemplary life we gave our children. If we truly gave children freedom to grown up watchign us, copying us and experiencing their own adventures, then we need to prove faith in God to let children go enjoy their own lives. A Family Day can be a day we enjoy being all together again - but above all we need to realize that children only can grown up to mature adults if allowed to realize their own dreams and plans of life. Weak children are no fun to have. Wild, adventurous children eventually will be strong in body and strong in their heart as well to become true partners for eternity.

Mother days and father days are no days for gratitude from children toward parents - children never asked to be created ? Such days are days of mutual deepest love among all children and parents! Without happy children no happy parents. Without children no father and no mother - without children we would be simply beings empty of love, empty of sources of love and empty of recipients of love. Without children we all would be in a life with no real purpose or goal.

Many people have a problem in accepting God - for the simple reason as God appears too far away and beyond intellect. God never can be understood, analyzed or captured by human intellect. God however can be felt. To feel love you need to have an open heart. To have an open heart you need to start accepting love and learn giving love to all.
