Twofold blessed - I am blessed with a mountain of problems and I am blessed with an even greater mountain of work waiting to be done

Problems force to grow better and stronger

God knows that problems make people grow - or die! God knows I love to grow. These past several months I have a steadily increasing mountain of problems, technical problems! Philippine Internet service providers either suffer from global crisis or from laziness. Whatever - since some 4 months the Internet connection is so extremely bad that even dial up times appear to have been good times many years back. Speeds of 2-5 kBps are quiet normal for most hours of the day. Ping of 700 to 1100 or more milliseconds are normal as well these days. Really normal would be 300-390 ms. The 1.5 Mbps I should have these days is rarely more than 10% of what we pay for ...

A corporate Internet line from a new provider should arrive this week. But the local management has been making such promises since more than 3 months already.

My earlier situation in Baguio was even worst and the one week in La Union resulted in 4 days online and 3+ days totally offline.

The new server has arrived within hours but there are plenty of lessons to learn to accomplish a high end security and performance optimized configuration. Hundreds of additional hours to learn, to google, to study and to test - on slow www lines.

All these a.m. problems are a true blessing. A challenge to learn more, to become better and to know better how to solve, how to configure all better. No help in sight, hence lots of self study, googling and searching thru hundreds of pages to find solutions - or - testing and create solutions. A side result of above problems is an indepth review of all possible options and locations where best to stay/live and work.

The final result will be a more peaceful offline time. More peaceful because by the end of all problem solving I will know that all is done much better than ever before and that all server performance is much stronger than ever before. In addition 2 or more servers as a cluster will serve you - the Cyberspace Ashram readers - much better than the present setup.

To grow stronger in Linux server management is vital for a later on increased productivity and increased site traffic. The work load I have is my second blessing. I create work. Any quantity of work. Hence the word "jobless" is strange word on this planet. I know that I have Millions of years full time work where ever I will be. Also at home! There is so much to be done that free minutes are rare or nearly inexisting in my life. New ideas to create new online content, photos, graphics, texts, eBooks, etc are unlimited - or limited only by the available time in my current life. IN addition to all online work I also have mountains of offline work, in the streets, in darkest places this planet has to offer, if needed even in remote foreign countries or nearby neighbor countries.

To have ample work truly is a blessing when looking at the Millions of work-blind people fearing loss of jobs. Jobs and work all my life always have been available in abundance. Work in abundance means having useful things to do until death, until return home to God. That also means that any pension becomes obsolete and thus also that any worry about pension security is obsolete. Why hang around if you have the option of being useful and enjoying loving work and being helpful to others ?

Christmas blessing as a result of above 2 blessings

The final blessing is a typical Christmas blessing - daily increasing number of site visitors results in daily more help to poor ones here. Daily more people receiving love, bliss and material help as well. Love needs to flow - so does money! Money in the pocket is like milk in a jar - after a few days it's getting sour and spoiled. Hence money needs to flow as needed. A steady in-flow results in a steady overflow and thus in a steady number of smiling eyes.

I wish you all equal mountains of challenges in your own life as "challenges" ( a diplomatic name for "problems" ) help you to grow strong and once you are strong you'll start to enjoy work and life as well. Work is existing all around our globe, all you need is to be strong enough to accept work as freelance, as your own boss and do what needs to be done. With large companies going bankrupt, that frees labor to become self employed and it also frees work that no longer is done by corporations but needs to be done by small one man or family businesses.

No corporation in the world can be as flexible and as strong as ONE single expert worker being his OWN boss. As your own boss you have the freedom to work day and night without having to listen to labor union or government. As your own boss you listen to your customers only and work in harmony with God's love, you fulfill real needs by real humans and as a result of true customer satisfaction you earn real revenue from real work making others really happy.
