Laundry in Cambodia - Are you unhappy with your Laundromat or laundry? Look at Laundry in Cambodia and think twice about your own laundry services and values in life
People in "civilized" world have lost to a high degree the ability to be modest and above all to be happy. You have all, you can buy all - with credit lines and credit cards - yet you still have failed to achieve the level of "civilization" required to be happy with what you have.
Here in Cambodia life is simple, yet Cambodian smile, are most polite and very friendly, most humble and above all happy with what they have right now. After decades of war, battles and human atrocities, war from outside and inside - finally you start to realize the true values of life. Such as simply being alive, having a family, having friends, having time for family and friends. Being free of debts and mortgages, having food every day even if food sometimes might be simple but at least natural and home made.
Typical laundry in Cambodia always is handwash

With the exception of some people living in cities, laundry is done outdoors directly at water's edge, lakes, rivers, creeks. Only the very richest ones and some hotels have Laundromat. All "normal" Cambodian do handwash and never complain. Cambodian have something far more valuable than a number of cars and Laundromat with driers ... family, care for others, friends and a most beautiful nature to maintain and protect.
True quality of life and happiness in life depends on other factors than Laundromat. Review your own life and see what true value of life factors you are missing most. A sincere review of your own emotional situation deep inside may reveal that Laundromat, cars, TV and other high tech household gadgets only are substitute for something much higher. Something so high that only truly civilized cultures may have achieved already. Some eternal achievements and lessons for life may have very troublesome lessons - Cambodia is but one of many countries with a most troubled past. Hundreds of Millions, more likely Billions of others on this planet undergo or underwent similar long lasting and painful lessons of selfish life in past years and decades to find back to normal life with true human values.
Ever since I left Europe I do handwash myself despite the huge workload I have handwash never was a work factor if done daily and with love. As a general rule in life: Never have other people do your dirty work, laundry and clean up - no matter how poor they might be. If you create karma or dirt, then clean up your own karma and dirt on your own. That helps you to learn to be more humble and to value the work, care and love from others much better again. To value others as human beings instead of creditors, debitors, customers, money sources, etc is something we all might have to learn all over again in "civilized" worlds to learn again to behave as truly civilized humans. Caring for others, caring for nature and all world.
Love and Bliss
