Kingdom of Cambodia Visa requirements and visa extensions for Cambodia, where to get your visa, how to extend your visa for Cambodia
The following are a few government websites with useful and helpful information on Tourism Cambodia. The Khmer government has several official websites with useful information and current visa requirements, some of the sites however are sometimes down for an extended period of time. One such government website I used just weeks ago - http://www.mfaic.gov.kh - apparently no longer exists or at least has NO valid DNS entry at present.
Visa requirements apparently change from time to time. Hence it is vital to verify the most current information available from an official Cambodian government web site. As of this writing, 1 month visa were available at the airport of arrival = Siem Reap and Phnom Penh. A valid passport and a recent photograph (4x6) is required. The visa fee currently is US$ 20 payable in cash US currency. The procedure is fast and efficient and takes but a few minutes. Try to get a visa application form from your airline to avoid additional delay upon arrival. eVisa also are available, but there appear to have been a few problems with online processing / payments and issuing of e-visa. The traditional way also exists: Visit the nearest Embassy of the Kingdom of Cambodia in your country and get a visa.
Some countries' citizens are required an advanced visa issued by an Embassy of the Kingdom, a few dozen countries have special agreements and their citizens are allowed to arrive without visa and request visa at the airport upon arrival. Check beforehand about precise law applicable to you depending on your nationality. Check with government websites to assure your information is current and valid as rules and law may change and information on private websites outdated.
Currently we also have a one year visa for US$ 300 as an extension possibility in addition to the 3 months visa extension and the regular 1 month by 1 months extension of visa. The one year visa is for the working visa.
Visa extensions can be applied directly by you or by the use of approved agents who do the administrative work for you for a small fee.
God bless
