As a result of earlier reports and most intense use of all available resources in the case of Hotel Swiss Chalet - finally some good news after some 15 months of hard and intense work:

While the case with the DOLE Papanga still is an open case and far from solved. This entire case is about implementing minimum legal wages under the entire area of DOLE Papanga and other departments in the Philippines as well. There is absolutely NO evidence that the Department of Labor and Employment in Papanga has verified the implementation of the minimum wages in all establishmens of Angeles City and Balibago district.

According to newest information received, the Hotel Restaurant Swiss Chalet labor exploitation case is at least partially solved by paying out the long overdue back-wages to the 3 sacked employees. According to newest information, the remaining employees now also appear to receive legal minimum wages at Swiss Chalet AC. However I have NOT seen personally the full and detailed payroll showing full minimum wage or more being paid out to ALL employees at Swiss Chalet by its owner.

Unknown as of this publishing also is, if and how much of all outstanding back-wages of all current employees has been paid out to all employees having received underwages below legal minimum for the past many years. Also unknown is the whereabouts of all backwages for all those employees who had their employment terminated by any methods and for any reason during the year 2007/2008 or any time earlier.

For far more than a full year Swiss Chalet owner Hans Hofmann delayed payout of legally due backwages and compensation by going into every possible appeal despite the clear legal and moral situation and despite all legal decisions from the very beginning always have been clearly in favor of the exploited and sacked hotel / restaurant employees.

This case of labor exploitation is just another example how corrupt a system is and how little many businessmen care about the wellbeing of an entire society. Another example why our global economy goes downhill as a result of widespread moral decay in our selfish human society thru the loss of moral and spiritual values in life. This case of DOLE Papanga failure is far from terminated and may go on for more than a full lifetime for some.

Such cases are time and resources consuming, hence very expensive and that exactly is the resons why most business men succeed in exploiting employees and laborers. Hoping that employees run out of money long before all legal resources are exploited in full for the protection of employees. The local legal system for implementation of minimum wage law, just as in dozens of other countries, is far too slow, too corrupt, too inefficient to be affordable. It's about money and only richest ones can afford to get justice. All normal citizens get screwed by a corrupt economy and money oriented system. The warnings received early during this case in writing and by phone also shows how many people prostitute their position and power to serve for money - no matter what, no matter the moral or spiritual values, just for the sake of making profits or securing job / business relationships and gain.

God's necessary resources of any and all kind needed however are infinitely larger and infinitely more powerful than ego resources. God helps the suppressed ones, God always helps all loving ones!
