Have a look at your own life. How free are you to enjoy your own life day after day? Can you live at places you love, in countries you love most, doing a work you truly enjoy ?

Most may say no - a few yes. If you are among those entangled in your own mistakes, then it is time to change your life, to initiate a change of heart and mind. I wrote many times about the value of simple life to enjoy a more happy life. Simple life however never means a lifestyle close to stone age.

First understand what a simple life means

Above all simple life means a life under your own full control. Managed but by yourself. That requires a life style free of complex contracts and entanglements with other companies and persons. You are the one to mess up your life, you are the one to make decisions to result in loss of your own freedom. Change your way of decision making - learn to correct mistakes and learn to enjoy freedom and have fun again!

Simple life never means to have no comfort at all. But simple life requires to have full control of every aspects of your life. That includes to have an affordable lifestyle free of credits, free of loans, free of mortgages, free of long time contracts of any kind.

Reduce your property

Reduce your property to a level where you alone can manage, repair, maintain all your property on your own. Reduce the size of apartment of house to the actual size you really need to live comfortably. Rearrange your living and working environment as well as your working methods or even your actual work.

Learn to be your own boss. Learn to work at home. Learn to unite your work, your home and your family and family life all together. Integrate your family into your work. That results in having one single address - work and home in one. Being always with your loved ones, being available, avoid being missed by those who love you and are the center of your life.

Simple life means to be qualified - rather than the opposite. However who says that having solid professional qualifications must result in complex life, complex separated working and living situations? Keep in mind that working out of home results in additional waste of time, additional waste of rent to pay for 2 places and lots of time lost for work and family fun.

Increase your qualifications to free yourself

For example you may live on an island or remote mountain province, be web publisher and still maintain your work. However you may have to provide your own Internet connection. Via satellite or mobile 3G connections. Hence you may need some additional skills to make you free and self-sufficient. That however is a matter of months and sometimes may cost you only a few hundred dollars extra per month. You may have to provide your own alternative environment friendly power supply. At the same time you may save thousand or more of dollars monthly for higher rent, you may avoid increasing medical bills for living in a polluted city environment. You also may prevent a loss of joy in life living in loud, polluted and expensive city or industrial environment. You have to balance between what amenities in life you really need to live happily. You will be surprise to see what amenities in life really are obsolete but lead to at much higher living expenses and those forcing you to work and earn much more than your really need for a happy life.

The easiest earned money is saved money

The easiest earned money is the money you save by reducing your expenses in life and overhead of life! Most families in Europe., USA and similar countries may easily reduce their overall life expenses and overhead to far less than half of their current cost of living and still maintain a same or even higher level of true comfort in life. It all is a matter of cutting or dropping obsolete expenses and finding back to true values in life. That also means that most families would have the same quality of life with only one person per family having a full time job or 2 persons having a part time job. Thus a reasonable but strict reduction of overhead expenses in life also would instantly free millions of jobs, by reducing the number of full time earners needed in each family to provide for the total cost of a happy life! Instant free jobs resulting in free of charge new jobs without any bail out money, without additional investment, without additional environment pollution! In contrary - by reducing your overhead expenses of life, you instantly create a relief for the totally overloaded environment.

You may enjoy a simple life but yet have a very comfortable life with a decent income to have fun and enjoy life. Keep your overhead at a minimum, keep your expenses as low as possible and avoid using the full ceiling of your revenue as a limit of your spending. Look into the values of your heart in your life. Spend time, efforts and money to maintain those values in life rather than for overhead living expenses such as rent, cars, appliances, repair and maintenance of home and tech stuff.

Expand your qualifications

By expanding your own qualifications in all ways you also reduce spending for out of home services. Learn to do all yourself as much as possible. Any extra services, learn to use family ties, friends and your extended family. That strengthens your family and helps you to enjoy life amidst a healthy, loving and sound extended family. Be as self-dependent as possible. The more you know all different aspects of your own work and life, the less dependency you have and the stronger you feel. To be widely self-sufficient also helps to feel strong and free. Dependency on others creates expenses, stress and loss of freedom in your life.

By being strong and professionally qualified in addition to maintain a low level profile in your entire professional and private life will eventually help you to enjoy greater freedom to move around during the course of your life. To live and work at places you love to be. To enjoy life in its fullest possible extent.

To be strong in life also helps you to stay mostly free of of political or economical effects on your life. If you maintain a low level of expenses in your life and job you always should have sufficient financial security to change and adapt your life, your job, your way to do business.

Be an expert to be useful for others

Whatever you do, focus on achieving a high level of professional expertise. There is no expensive education needed to do so. Real qualifications are the result of self study, life experience, professional experience - all resulting from real life situations and continuous learning while living and working a useful and helpful job.

Freedom in life is something you have to earn. Freedom is the result of strength hence the result of accomplishments, work, efforts. Never expect to be fully free and strong in your early years or decades. Be ready to work toward that goal. For decades all life long until you are free and can enjoy a lifestyle the way you really want it. Remember that here on earth we learn for eternity. Be ready for extraordinary and long lasting efforts. Invest your full efforts until goal reached! True joy of life often starts much later in your life. At age 40 or 50 and beyond. Real fun and joy of life starts after death - when home in God. That's should be a goal for all. Young years are often wasted for mistakes and wasted years on wrong path of life, in wrong jobs, wrong countries and working for wrong employers.

Learn from older and more experienced ones

If you achieve freedom in earlier years - then well done! However be ready to carefully protect and strengthen your freedom. Be ready to learn fro older generations. Listen to advice from more experienced once. Keep learning and improving all life long. Remain mentally and physically flexible. Broaden your horizons by traveling while working. Learn from other cultures and countries.

Change your heart and mind for a happy life in freedom

To initiate a more fun and love oriented free life, dig deep into your current life situation and analyze your current life. Figure out where your restrictions are to move on in life. Who keeps you from moving on, who prevents you from changing country or job? Where are your weaknesses, who is responsible for your weaknesses that reduce your current freedom to enjoy your life and work the way you dream of? You are the only one really responsible for your own life, hence take back your full responsibility and full control of your own life. terminate any contract and situation that currently limits your freedom in life and thus also your joy of life and fun in life!

After your thorough analysis - make changes. One by one remove or solve your currently limiting factors in your own life. Divorce, change jobs, reconcile with loved ones, heal marriages, learn to improve qualifications. Learn to provide basic natural needs to others. Learn to make happy instead of focusing on profit!

Accept responsibility for your own life

A change of heart and mind requires your fullest willingness to accept responsibility for your own life. Your current situation of life is the result of your own decisions, lack of decisions, wrong or right decisions or a combination of all before mentioned. Change, correct, act and you will succeed as long as you do with love and for love toward all others above all.
