SEO Tools for quality control and to increase generic site traffic. How and why to use SEO tools to be successful

Search engine traffic is free traffic. Hence it always is better and cheaper to learn early in your web publisher career to acquire a habit of typing / publishing in a fully search engine optimized way.

Acquire a natural habit of writing Search Engine Optimized

To publish in an SEO way means to create a quality writing style habit that automatically contains the right words and proper keyword density in a variety of variations to achieve top results mainly with onpage methods.

Competitive writing style means to get a top 20 or top 30 SERPS simply using your day to day methods and tools and your manual content writing style - top 30 among 20'000'000 to 50'000'000 Million competing pages!! Never look at your top 10 result among a few hundred thousand competing pages. Look at 2 or 3 digit Millions competing pages and see how you do there. If you do all onpage and offpage SEO as mentioned here, then you should be able to get into top 10 in most of your important individual pages without link farming, link exchange or even buying links. I do NO link exchange at all, no link farming and I never paid a single cent to get backlinks. The best result so far is a top 10 in a 1.2 Billion pages competition area of great importance to me, to my heart and soul ... happy children.

Be critical with the quality of your own content

Whatever you publish, always be self-critical about the quality of your content. Never strive for a top 10 result with any page unless you know beyond doubt that you are a global expert in that particular topic and that you have globally top quality content for that particular page. There are image pages I have a #1 ranking among many hundreds millions of competing pages and I know that such a position matches my own investment and efforts in achieving that particular result. There are other keywords and image results where I know that I can do much better but just need additional time, investment, may be a few thousand kilometers of additional travel and another few thousand photos to choose from to deserve a better result.

Compare your own quality with the competing pages quality and be honest to yourself. If another site has apparently better quality. Be modest and humble and happy with any top 10 result instead of hunting for a #1 SERPS in Google. Other publishers also have a family and children to feed. Other publishers also are children of God!!! Other publishers may have been pioneers and started long time before you started to copy successful publishing niches for your own profit. Be ready to leave top places to the real pioneers offering top quality! Become your own global expert in your area and strive for a top position in your self created publishing niche as a pioneer.

Being a global leader may turn into a curse - beware of dangers and remain humble

There is another downside of having a #1 result in a high competition keyword. ALL world will hunt you down, by any means! Sometimes it is just perfectly fine to have any top 10 result of top 3-5 and have the blessing from God for all your work.

If you achieve such a top 20 to top 30 result purely with onpage methods of proper writing style - then and ONLY then can you push that one page into the top 10 or better top 5 within a few days, maximum 2-3 weeks after publishing with the additional help of:

Additional SEO efforts to turn a top 30 result into a top 10 Google SERPS

1. professional SEO tools such as IBP
2. submission to social sites such as Myspace, friendster, blogger accounts, forum signature links, propeller, YahooBuzz, Digg, kaboodle, etc
3. RSS feed submissions - PINGS - to all commonly known active RSS feed directories accepting pings

If you are unable to get into top 10 SERPS in your field of specialization, then you either invest far too little efforts in web publishing, or have cheap hosting, or wrong domain name or you simple work without your heart and soul. Any popular field / keyword combination of 2 popular keywords typically results nowadays in many dozens of Millions of competing pages. They all want to be top. Anything below top 20-30 brings you near zero or zero traffic and thus is useless to even start publishing!

The key however is when you have acquired a generic writing style to get into the top 30 in Google, then you can push with clean legal means the result into top 10 SERPS. All you may need is 50 to 100 instant backlinks to that one new page.

Instant backlinks = means within minutes to hours the backlinks need to be available to Google. If the backlinks are up later, then it is too late for Google to bring that new page instantly into the top 10 SERPS.

To get those extra backlinks, you need either a bunch of people doing "manual jobs" OR you have a few tools to do that job instantly for you after each new post or page is published.

1. A ping to all RSS feed directories - around 50 or more - will be done within a few minutes and will have a backlink to that post within minutes. There are multiple ways to ping all RSS directories. Automatically ping as configured in your Blog software. Using any of the free online ping sites such as pingoat, pingler, etc. I have done that for a few years. Moved on to use RSS Submit 2.6 and Blog Blaster 1.5. Why? Because some of the free ping sites had limits like one ping per RSS feed per day or time limits, etc. As an active publisher I sometimes publish quantities of new files per day - thus I want to be free to ping whenever needed. Also the number of active RSS directories pinged is larger in RSS Submit and can be managed myself as needed. For many of the high quality RSS directories you first need to register and create a user account. 2. Submission to a.m. social sites and voting sites also will be done in minutes and give you instant high quality backlinks immediately available to Google and other major search engines. This so far is done manually on a case by case decision. Automated or semi-automated tools so far have failed to provide real time savings at max optimization.
3. The final phase is a submission to minor search engines and directories. I do this final phase using IBP, a professional search engine promotion tool - which will eventually auto-submit after proper manual configuration of each page (!!!) to some 50 to 100 minor SE and quality directories world wide. These minor SE and directories may take up to weeks to index your submitted page. Hence your search engine rankings may slowly go up and up until all links are found by Google and taken into account for new SERPS computation.

Do a complete job ALL the way when publishing a new page - until job successfully completed

The key to above submissions success is to do ALL above points instantly at once after publishing a new page or Blog article ! To fully benefit from the power of high quality backlinks as offered on social sites, RSS directories and quality vote sites, etc is that Google loves them all and re-indexes them all every few minutes. Hence a submission to propeller, YahooBuzz, Kaboodle or Digg may appear in Google results within less than 30 minutes. Thus such high quality backlinks become part of your initial SERPS to bring you closer or into page 1 results in major SEs. If you wait just a few hours - then you LOST all that extra power. Either do it RIGHT and do it ALL - or forget becoming a powerful and successful web publisher! If you are too tired to do all at once, too hungry to complete ALL your work until job done successfully, then change your job or review your motivation. OR - delay the moment of publishing until you are fit enough to do a complete job at once!

Fatal errors when publishing new pages

Recently friends of mine submitted a new and good page - however changed the title after submission. Result: Google penalty and out of G index. If ever you change your title, the first 2-3 words, then you commit publisher suicide. Who changes titles? Those who try to cheat Google Index and try to change and change until top 10 SERPS. Google smart - that's why G lots of $! Make up your mind BEFORE publishing. Research Google trends before deciding on a title. Look at your content and at the competition. The make a title and stay with that title for life.

More than a year ago I changed the title of my spiritual newsletter page. That was a very old page and no one ever searches for "spiritual newsletters" or something similar. Hence I changed the title to something more precise and directly related to the content = Spiritual lessons for life. After changing the title, that page now is receiving a Google penalty since far more than a year- Mean no where in the Google index to be found despite the small competition of only some 8 Million pages. For me in my a.m. case it makes no difference at all because the title before brought no direct traffic to the main newsletter page. Hence I have no loss and one day in a few years or post mortem may be Google may drop the penalty.

Chose a title - do some research

When choosing a title for a Blog article or new page. Make the title short - when ever possible 2-3 words - maximum up to 6 words. Less than 67 characters long and as keyword precise as possible. Do research your title choice using Google trends and never copy titles by your competition. Be creative and prove that you are no copier but a unique creator of content. If copying others is all you know, then sooner or alter in life you fail anyway. If you keep copying others and making mistakes, then better sooner than later to wake you up in time to change your heart and mind and bring you back to the road of uniqueness and success in life. Use your God given creativity and produce something our of your own heart, financed with your own money and created by your own efforts!
