The power of RSS feeds to promote your fresh content - Learn how major SE love RSS feeds and blogs
Of course you have it, and do it. But do you have enough fresh Blog articles to be loved by major search engines such as Google or are you just blogging every few weeks or months an article or two?
Blogging can be and should be a replacement for publicly controlled media such as national newspapers, TV, etc. Hence of real value are blogs that write about current events, publish pictures and videos of events, countries, places, destinations, etc.
Blogging also is most helpful to quickly publish solutions to common problems, errors, mistakes, how Ito's, help for damages occurring in daily life, in technical situations or web publishing / server problems, etc. But you know all that - do you ? And you use your blog or various blogs accordingly to fully use the power of blogs to promote solutions of love, to publish helpful articles, share life and love experiences, etc and to help making this world a better world.
For those among you having still some doubts about usefulness of Blogs and efficiency of RSS feeds, here a little motivation for you. Just few days back I had again in one of my favorite RSS feeds new items. I use to directly and manually ping all 3 major SE = Google, Yahoo and Bing ( the latter is pinged via moreover ). Quiet frequent in my past publishing experience are 25-30 minutes until a pinged RSS item appears in Google. For other SEs that may take hours or days of course. But we look at the search engine leader only. This time after publishing a new RSS item, I wanted to have a quick look at the competition and see how many pages are out there on that keyword combination. As the picture below shows - 5 minutes after ping sent, that precise page appeared already in Google search index. That shows the power of Google as well as Google's preference to get fresh content instantly into the web to serve the world of data hungry surfers and information consumers.
How I ping all the frequent new items published? As mentioned before, all 3 major SE manually and all other some 85 or so RSS directories by use of RSS Submit tool. No more free online tools as they are too restricted in use or number of RSS directories pinged. Google's leadership in the search engine market is the result of efficiency in proper high tech use. Hence you too should use the most efficient tools to do all your jobs as fast and as time consuming as possible to be always in the front row of web publishing.
Look into your own blogging habits - improve and start to blog about as many useful topics as you are an expert in. Blogging is no chit chat gossip media but a most serious quality media meant to partially or entirely replace one day printed media and many of available how to do it yourself ... guides and books. All you need is a certain vintage resulting in decades of experience in life and job, a good quality pocket camera to provide pictures or mp3 movies where needed or helpful and a website with your own domain name rather than free hosting. Look at it the SE way: Cheap or useless gossip is published on free hosting sites and Blogs. Valuable content is worth the extra few efforts and dollars to get a domain just for you alone. That is how I look at search results and I would assume major SE also look at it a similar way. No one publishing heavy duty professional content for a living would do so on free hosting or free blog accounts! Blogging may become an alternate revenue source or later even a major revenue source if you have many thousand published high traffic articles.
Love and Bliss
