Busuanga island - travel tips - beautiful rocky islands and nature sceneries from Coron city
Its dry season in most regions of the Philippines. Busuanga island is even much more affected by dry season. Most of the mountains and hills are empty of any real vegetation. Just dry dust and rocks. Nevertheless there are a few unique and quiet spectacular nature sceneries to enjoy on Busuanga island.

How to get up to Mt Tapyas? The easiest way is directly straight up from where ever you are! The way up is easy and stony/rocky.

Walking up Mt Tapyas
May be 20 minutes of walking up in beautiful hot sun keeps your heart and body enjoying the practice! Going down after sunset is much easier. From top of Mt Tapyas you find easy cemented stairs going into the center of Coron city - a safe passage even in dark after sunset.

Then you wait a while until sunset time. At my place people had no idea at all about sunset hours ... This time of the year it is about 1800hrs.

Coron as a starting point offers more nature sceneries to enjoy. Just be prepared for long boat trips to the islands or long bumpy motor bike tours around the island. Start easy and visit the nearby Makinit Hot Springs - Coron
