Kayangan lake is famous for its clean clear water. The cleanest fresh water lake in the Philippine islands and since my previous visit in May 2007 there has been no deterioration at all. The lake looks now as clean as 3 years ago!

Our voyage to Kayangan lake in the final stage passes through a beautiful island labyrinth with a few corners. After each corner a new most beautiful scenic view with blue or turquoise lagoons and high rocky cliffs and an amazing and unique rocky island vegetation.

The journey to the final and very beautiful lagoon takes less than an hour by boat if you take your time to enjoy the journey as much as its beauty deserves. From here we leave our boat and walk up the stairs ... to enjoy the beautiful view to our lagoon.

After enjoying our beautiful scenic view to above blue lagoon, we are ready for a memorable swim in Philippines cleanest tropical fresh water lake - Kayangan lake. Below picture says it all. The lake water is easily accessible with a wooden peer and stairs in and out of the water.
