the names for such tropical whirl winds or twisters of destructive power
varies on geographical location or area - here in the Philippines it's
called typhoon and we have one since about yesterday in northern Luzon
island and according to news, yesterday the typhoon has been already done
some 400 fatalities and substantial damage on the eastern side of this
island.

now these very minutes the preparation of winds - the announcement of to
soon arriving twister is going on. according to weather forecast this
typhoon is scheduled to arrive between midnight and 02 AM - Dec 2/3 2004
- and that just happens to be around peak high tide. directly along the
beach that means high waves are expected across all beaches

all day was dark almost like night time today ... giving all a warning
of what is coming soon.

what is the cause of such typhoons or hurricanes ?

meteorologists may find many explanations - but from a spiritual point
of view it is the sudden relief of excess emotional and spiritual karma
of a region. but why does it happen in particular regions or
geographical locations only ...
because people with similar or equal karma or spiritual lessons are
usually grouped / reincarnated in particular geographical locations.

what is the lesson we all learn from such typhoons or natural "disaster" ?

it makes us humble and think of how small, how weak we truly are
compared to natures power, compared to God's all-might to creation and /
or dissolve creation where needed or make corrections where people
failed to correct in time.

during a typhoon many may be scared to death - after a taifun or
hurricane - almost all are far more humble again and

after each typhoon hundreds or thousands of more families may lose their
home - everything or most of their property - rich and poor ones alike.
NO insurance can protect from such powers - hence a typhoon also make all
"mighty" and "rich" ones aware of how poor and powerless they are in the
face of God's power.

Amazingly such taifuns with all the related damage, loss and destruction
most of the time is the absolutely most loving and most efficient way to
bring poor and rich together and open hearts of all the rich ones, lazy
ones or proud ones - as by the end of each natural disaster there is
neither time nor opportunity to be lazy, stingy or proud as many may
have lost all - including the lives of some beloved relatives or best
friends or neighbors.

a typhoon often is the hour of truth - faith in God or fear of death ?

whoever truly loves never can fear death NOR ever can fear any natural
disaster as he will have all his valuables inside his heart and soul and
the few physical objects needed for physical life can all together
easily hand carried ALL at once.

learn from lessons of love
learn to love without and before such lessons overrun you as well one day
karma has many faces - from cancer to aids to hurricanes / typhoons or
car accidents or earthquakes
here in the Philippines we have frequent but minor earth quakes - it
appears to me almost like weekly or monthly
