we find all over Sabang Beach many pool tables to play the Philippine national sport pool ...

last night we had - without announcement - two of the worlds greatest 9 ball pool players at Big Apple Resort playing a challenge game ... may be just for fun - may be for promotion ...
because one thing they surely never had
room to play a serious game - too many fans at touching distance around the pool table

both are most likely far more popular than any of the past or present presidents of the Republic of Philippines. obviously we had a crowd of fans here around them, all smiling, all happy to see their idols amidst them - handing over marker pens, turning back ... to have an autograph on the back of the T-shirt ...

it surely was more about having fun than about the game
who or what was more important - the game they played or the two players ??

certainly the players !!

I watched often Efren Reyes and Francisco Bustamante's games on TV - it's far easier to watch the TV 9 ball games than life but life is life and suddenly the game becomes secondary to nil.

I have been told by a waitress that tonight - Saturday May 7th both are scheduled to play again. Both are people like you and me - normal people to speak to without body guard or security. just another normal day at places I love at Sabang Beach - Mindoro ...
