Most of us never put their head more than a few feet underwater - even less amidst a school of fishes, porposes or even sharks
Some outstanding people like my old Florida PADI Instructor college buddy Doug Perrine have made a life out of the documentation of the UW beauty of this world's oceans to show you the beauty of UW creation.
The difference in regular UW photography and outstanding professional UW wildlife photography is the amount of time, the number of dives it takes as well as the financial investment in top edge UW photography equipment it takes to produce professional quality pictures.
To make a single shark picture from a few feet away may take many divers years just to get close enough - to be amidst thousands of fishes may take lots of love for the environment to be accepted amidst all life. Professional UW photographers of top level quality have spent many thousands of hours underwater and many ten thousands of $ investment in dive gear, photo gear and travel to exotic dive sites around the globe to finally get a few dozen shots of Dolphin and Porpoise Photos of top publishing quality.

Environment protection starts within ourselves - by changing our inner attitude we change our behavior to our entire environment - human, animal and nature in general. by dissolving our ego and quarrels with others we automatically withdraw from nature-destruction. True love developed within always leads to healing of nature and healing of all our body, mind and soul as well!
Nature above and below the ocean is made FOR mankind to make OUR life possible and enjoyable. The way we all treat nature is the way we all treat God.
UW dive jobs are manifold and can be rewarding. UW photographer is a beautiful job ... except it requires TRUE love for God like God's true love for you and nature and it never leads to big $ - just big satisfaction in life !!
True satisfaction - true happiness - is something NO money of this world ever can buy. True satisfaction in life is the automatic result of having served creation by making others happy out of your own inner being, by producing out of your own. By producing at your expenses and never at the expense of part of creation. Satisfaction never can be achieved at the expense of part of creation - but only if love is directed toward the entire creation during your life and work - here on earth as well as beyond. How to make others happy is an art we all need to practice and if necessary re-learn from scratch to find out own happiness again.
