If quality is of no importance to you
If after sales service if of no importance
If customer service is unimportant
If only best short time deal matters
then most likely any source may be OK to purchase
If however you are looking for a professional product, after sales service,k warrantee work, repair, modification, accessories and most optimized customer service is important and of value to you,
then you should make your purchases from a human source rather than an online source. NO PC, NO SW, NO shopping cart or customer chat support can ever replace a eye to eye talk customer to boss.
A true boss of any business takes personally care of all his customers, such is the case in all shops I purchase ever since in this life. I am happy to say that I never have purchased anything of any true value or true importance online and I see no reason to bypass the level of quality a true professional can offer.
Price is one of the last consideration in life - quality and individual counseling as well as individual supply of all features and accessories exactly as needed is of highest value ... at least to me
If I see how many hours online shoppers waste for questions, problems, phone calls, support questions, changing orders, changing dates, changing mind, asking refund, ...
and if I multiply the number of hours by an average amount $ earned as a professional
then it appears to me that many online shoppers are short of calculation skills to calculate the true overall cost of purchase.
When you plan your upcoming Christmas gifts take that into consideration. A true professional store with true experts can offer a service and before sales and after sales service no online store and no web site ever can offer. A true professional store will absorb all the problems you may have to cope when shopping online. The few extra % in price is just a tiny fraction of cost you will have when having to deal with all the future service and hotline costs for your products.
Loyalty to a professional store - that is something I enjoyed from my own customers when working many decades ago as electronic technician in Switzerland. People 100km and more away where driving to my bosses store - just to receive all the expert advice, fine tuning and all the small modification a customer may want to have - all at no extra cost, all just done in exchange of customer satisfaction and customer loyalty to professional stores.
Now these years I am easily ready to travel a few hundred km to visit "my" computer shop, to advanced discuss upcoming purchases, to ask questions and exchange experiences with the owner of "my" preferred professional shop. Prices ... have always be fair and honest - I never compared to any other source - the quality and my very own satisfaction have been far more worth than a possible few extra $ saved.
Last time I purchased I even got an extra 3% discount I never ask for and never was mentioned nor part of the deal ...
If you replace any human contact in your life just for a few extra $ savings at first - you may have to accept with a smile that one day YOU too will be replaced by an online or robot service
because it is certainly cheaper to live without humans on a planet just made for robots

all your kids without job because we all want to buy from computers, from shopping carts and get our counseling from remote chat support who may every once in a while say
"sorry we have no permission to .."
"sorry we are in no contact with the department in charge"
...
