RSS and search engine use - Upgrade your knowledge and skills - learn how to use search engines and RSS feeds efficiently

Just a few weeks ago I enjoyed the visit of a young and highly educated man - some 25 years and still student ... but absolutely NO knowledge about RSS feeds and how to use RSS feeds as a consumer / reader ...

Some 50 years ago we all learned to use land line dial phones, even smallest kids just some 3-4 years of age knew how to dial the number of grandma or grandpa ...

why?

because it was a new technology that made our all communication and life easier, more efficient and more successful.

Now we have since more than a decade Internet, eMail, RSS feeds and search engines - and yet it is safe to say that the majority of all Internet user lacks basic knowledge about how to efficiently use a major search engine such as Google ( I see now and then that some people still use other search engines and haven't realized yet that all other search engines are months or years behind in their data and if - then they have only a part of all available data.

When i look at my log file records from the Cyberspace Ashram server, then I see that many have no smallest idea how to enter the correct keywords to find precise results. Some talk to a search engine like to a human.

Help each others to learn most efficient se of all modern technologies - but use these modern technology to your all benefit without ever getting entangled and enslaved in such technologies. Use modern high tech without being used by such high tech!!

Ask friends for help - offer a value in exchange for help received, use online tutorials or forums, participate in weekend or evening classes until you know what and how you use modern technologies for the benefit of your entire family and business success.

For all professional web sites and even more for efficient one man sites with a limited budget and limited time - only the single most efficient methods of communication are acceptable in order to succeed and progress. Most of my ongoing teachings and sharing of experiences is published via RSS feeds and no longer via newsletters. The loss of newsletters in spam filter or incorrectly configured mailboxes is far too great.
