Minimum age for Kriya Yoga - Minimum maturity for Kriya Yoga practice - what are the minimum requirements to start the practice of Kriya Yoga

Kriya Yoga is the applied holy science of love - a direct conscious application of God's love within you and in all your daily life!

Hence anyone ready to love also is ready and mature to practice Kriya Yoga. Age never matters in love but maturity matters of course. Hence far more important than age is maturity of each individual.

Since Kriya Yoga is a most loving application or better invitation of God's love INTO your body, mind and soul - love needs to flow. In order for love to flow all those wanting to start the practice of actual Kriya Yoga proper including Kriya Pranayama need to have created and permanently established a steady and ever increasing flow of love IN and OUT of their inner and outer being and world. Hence you need to be free of dependencies of any kind, financial, material or other dependencies restrict the free flow of love in both directions.

Young people, children or students most often still depend on parents, scholarships, tuition loans and other outer resources - hence their life has but one direction of love to love = IN.

In order to create and establish a bidirectional flow of love - any person of any age needs to have established a situation of life that creates a full self sufficient life.

The clear and absolute criteria to start or to practice Kriya Yoga are:

1. You are working and paying all your life expenses in full out of your own honest work
2. You have at least a modest but honest amount to share with the poor or needy ones on a regular basis
3. You are free to make all your decisions in your life, job, love, business all on your own without any dependency on others
4. You are free to live where you love to live, to work what you love most to do and to move around freely as needed to progress in your own life
5. You accept and realize full responsibility for your life, for all your past, present and future.
6. You have forgiven all and are ready to ask forgiveness from all whenever needed - no matter what, who or why
7. You are ready to live in a way that benefits many and harms no single person or living being including the entire planet in all your life, job, private, political and recreation

If you meet above criteria - ALL of them - then you are old enough to successfully practice Kriya Yoga! There might be young teenagers fully qualifying - farmer sons, rice farmers, children of families with a small home business where children can work whatever jobs they love to do to actively contribute to real life requirements ....

There also might be 40+ or 60+ years old who still live on social welfare or parents' support or support by money or income created by employees ... and thus never having learned to actively GIVE as much or more love than they receive.

Active love-life means that you actually create services or products with your own body, mind, soul, hands for the benefit of others. Work assigned to others and done to others. It is YOUR love FOR others that is an absolute requirement for Kundalini to flow and the steady flow of kundalini. Love needs to flow in order to free you.

Without that full and free flow of love in BOTH directions - without a full balance of love, goods and services received with all love, services and goods created and given to others by you - there is NO free flow of love and hence NO success in Kriya Yoga.

When or whether at all you ever be ready is your own choice. Some may be ready since teenage years, others may be ready today and many may need to GET ready by preparing themselves to take control of their own lives, to learn to work a honest and useful job for the benefit of many. How long it may take you to be prepared depends only on the sincerity of your efforts and wishes to learn to love and to return home to our eternal home in God.

Your life is your responsibility - hence it is up to you to plan and think beyond your present short time goals and possible situations of short time benefits versus eternal inner peace, freedom and love.
