Presidential elections 2008: Promises and goals, how to change a country's future?

During the limited hours I spend to listen to a few TV shows with current presidential candidates for the 2008 elections - there are presidential election promises and goals named to attract votes - but do all these promises also serve a real purpose ?

More jobs, better wages, better medicare, end of war in Iraq, greener industry to fight the global warming are but a few of the promises made by presidential candidates for the 2008 elections.

Here some of my own thoughts to the key promises and goals mentioned by some candidates:

• More jobs - means more industry = more pollution and more energy needed
• Better medicare - means more expenses - to be paid by tax payers
• End or war in Iraq = fine but end of war needs to result from an inner process of maturity and willingness to refrain from any involvement in foreign countries - end of any war outside a country requires readiness to fully pay to others what you need from others rather than to secure your interests by means of brute military force. Withdraw from war means readiness to love and only to love in all situaitons.
• Solving the illegal immigration problem - means that the work currently done by the approximately 10 Million illegal workers in the USA needs to be done by legal US citizens - but WHO of the white collar society of the United States of America is willing to do THAT dirty, dangerous, underpaid work - often without any social security or benefits, without medicare and paid sick leave etc ?? 10 Million workers doing all the dirty jobs no US citizen is willing to do at THAT affordable wage the current foreigners are doing - approximately 100 Millions or hours DAILY dirty or hard work ... at half the salary or less than many Americans WANT to be paid ...

I see no betterment at all even if a new president fulfills all his promises - something almost never going to happen. What presidential candidates promise are candies for voters - sugar on "voters tails" to please voters hunger for a better life at the expense of others.

The real solutions for a real and lasting improvement would have to include:

• Asking all citizens to reduce size of houses and apartments, thus reducing the basic consumption of electricity and energy overall. Can you really live and occupy permanently a 200 sqm house with 4 bedrooms, 2 living rooms, 2 garages, etc ? How about getting in peace with all family and try to live with your entire family in a 2 or max 3 room house ... Hundreds of Millions NON-Americans can do so - are Americans weaker and thus more fighting than the rest of the world ?
• Asking all Americans to drive smaller cars, to have fewer cars, to drive lesser miles - substantial changes - substantial reductions in traffic and transportation habits !! What about driving to work with a modern bicycle like Millions of Europeans do - or even walk a few miles to work. Why do studens and teenagers need a car before they even started to earn their own full living
• Asking all Americans to substantially reduce consumption and limit consumption to really needed basic items, products and services and in exchange to substantially improve the quality of family life - to improve and purify the love among all family members and entire neighborhoods to make any distraction and love-substitutes obsolete. Who really needs more than 1 TV set or 1 Hi-Fi/radio set per household ? What about a few hours of peace and silence at home - hours without distraction - quality hours just for the family - to hug, to cuddle, to love, to sing with each other or play music without amplifiers with and for each other at home or for friends ...
• Asking all Americans to contribute part of the working time to those work and jobs that need to be done even if pay is less or no pay at all - there are jobs in society that simply needs to be done - never at a poor minority such as the work-willing "illegal" immigrants - but at the expense of all US society including all white collar society. All share a few years of their life working for sewage and garbage disposal, all work a few years as cheap labor on farms during harvest time, all do a few years construction and mining work - no matter the dirt, risk and pay. All spend a few years in medicare as caregivers, nurses, helpers.

By reducing all the excess in luxury items - less working hours are needed and more quality time is appearing in the life of all citizens - resulting in more time for love with family and friends - direct love and direct quality time spent person to person, eyes to eyes as human beings.

To refocus on the real values of life - asking such would certainly be no success as long as an entire nation lacks readiness and maturity to love and to focus on the really important lessons of life - to learn to solve all situaitons by love rather than by brute force of military, police and secret services !

God made a beautiful planet with ample space for each and every individual being - to move around all globe freely, to work and be useful around the globe as needed and when needed, to work where and when needed, to exchange love, experiences and cultural treasures among all people of God's creation and all nations on earth.

To really succeed in each and every country we all need to substantially reduce our spending, reduce our energy consumption for personal and industrial use and at the same time improve our output by increasing efficiency in our work, by contributing to all needed work with our own body-work, by substantially sharing all our skills, expertise and knowledge with all - for an ever increasing qualification of all society of this entire globe.

Improved or increased quality of living in no way means more money needed or invested, it simply means a total shift in goals from money making, career oriented, profit thinking life toward love oriented friendship based exchange of services and products.

Medicare is needed only in a society lacking maturity and readiness to accept full responsibility for all our actions and all or mistakes. Medicare only is needed as long as we engage in wrong jobs, wrong industrial working environment, wrong living habits, wrong artificial junk food and wrong living environment.

Medicare becomes mostly or totally obsolete as soon as an entire nation has learned to accept full responsibility for all wrong food, wrong living, wrong exposures to dangerous jobs, dangerous or toxic industrial products and productions. As soon as our life is back to a healthy, natural way of living fully integrated amidst a healthy nature - nature will take care for our health as much as we care for nature. Nature cares for our health free of charge. All we really need is to give nature its original and full space to deploy all the power of healing and health balancing. By working ourselves hours each day outside in a natural environment - and living in small houses and homes fully integrated within a dense natural vegetation surrounding all our homes.

Social tension and kids criminality and drug problems disappear as soon as we have freedom to enjoy nature, as soon as we have a true nature to play, to use and to explore again - a nature belonging to all people and never to governments or real estate owners.

Americans failed to achieve a capability of rational logical thinking - the dream of ever increasing profits, everlasting easy fast money, easy white collar jobs - that only works as long as you have a majority of global population being weak or poor or suppressed. As soon as all planet wakes up - all want to be equal and all have a divine right to be treated as equal beings with equal rights, equal duties, equal salaries matching true human qualifications and efforts. The temptation of all presidential candidate's promises of a better America or better future is great and most likely the one candidate promising the greatest and most brilliant soap bubbles may win again the coming elections ... until one day Americans are ready to most substantially reduce expenses, energy consumption, foreign influence - while at the same time multiplying efforts to get lovingly in peace with all world, to substantially invest in protection of God's nature even at the expense of substantial reduction of industrial productivity or closure of large entire industries.

The survival, health and quality of living depends never on industrialization nor on increased profits - but on improved social behavior amidst each and every family - each and every husband wife - and children including all neighborhood and all global societies and cultures. To stay well within own limits and be happy what you have within is the first of many steps toward a more peaceful and more loving world.

Only the one president who is asking his entire nation to reduce all - instead of promising to offer more - will succeed in guiding an entire nation toward being a friendly and all around beloved nation - beloved by all other countries on this entire planet.

Every country has the government it deserves - to have a different government you as an entire people need first to change your own goals and readiness to give more before you ever can expect to achieve and receive more in life.

This above is valid for many or most other countries on this planet as well - to have and enjoy a democracy does require each and every citizen to be reasonable, to be wise, to be loving and to put the wellbeing of all planet above his own wellbeing or the wellbeing of his own country. Any other motivation or goal always will lead to painful failure - again and again until maturity is gained our of the many painful experiences. In God's home we have no democracy because we all recognize the infinite wisdom of God - wisdom always and only is possible on the basis of infinite love toward all. If God again is fully integrated in each and every household - then God also can and needs to be integrated in each and every government and all its decisions and actions - then peace is reestablished in a matter of seconds as a result of God's divine love flowing thru all people's hearts and souls !
