Welcome to Baguio City annual flower festival - it's flower season all year round

Sunflower season

Each year about same time - Mid February is the famous Baguio flower festival with beautiful exhibition of flowers and artisan from the mountains around Baguio City - Benguet province and beyond. While there are many small events scheduled as early as begin of February, the actual festival and main events this year are starting February 22nd and ends with the closure of Session road in bloom on March 2nd.

Schedule of activities:

22-24 February - Abanao nights
23 February - grand parade
24 February - parade of floats and bands
25 February - 2 March - Session road in bloom
2 March - closing ceremonies with playground demonstrations and exhibitions

In earlier years I mostly missed the main events. For this year's flower festival I booked my hotel already during my previous Baguio visit in October 2007! A full photo coverage resulting in new Love eCards and flower wallpapers hopefully may be published soon after the festival.
