Warning - the meaning of a warning in the Philippines
Today - as a result of my previous and ongoing support for the needy ones and specially for the ongoing hearings at the Department of Labor - I have received a warning:
- first by eMail: "... j'm warning you for the last time if you dont want to be in trouble ..."
- and minutes later again a little tougher by phone call
While the person is unknown to me and the eMails sender name never heard before, the root origin of the call is clearly the current case of Swiss Chalet! The meaning of such warnings in the Philippines is always multiple nature and most of the time involves a death threat. If people say "I know where to find you" ... then you know what to face.
However - what is better, to betray God and those in need for God's help and protection and to physically survive as a coward ...
or
to be true to God and all divine principles and to die with integrity ?
Often the soup is eaten less hot than cooked is a saying somewhere in the world. Many may change their mind when sleeping one more night and a hidden death threat may be forgotten in the face of full possible consequences.
In this case, the peaceful solution is simple - a honest salary of at least legal minimum wages or a possible reinstatement of the sacked employees. While most foreign employers do follow the minimum salary requirements, some even exceed the minimum wages - a few try to succumb to their greed and stinginess to acquire wealth at the expense of weaker ones ....
One day we all have to face God - death is the door to God - hence facing God with the knowledge of having been true and loyal to God always is for all people infinitely better than to follow such threats and betray God and the poor / needy ones. It always is better to die with integrity and honor than as a betrayer and coward.
Millions of loving humans - like during the European inquisition many hundred years ago have made the experience of being true to God until the last heart beat.
May all honest loving people have the courage to be true to God until one with God and beyond for all eternity!
Love and bliss
hans
