We start near Boracay's White Beach southern end - Angol - and walk on a narrow gravel path away from the beach toward Aliza.

After about 1 km walking along a small road surrounded by tropical vegetation - passing by many hidden small but beautiful family-resorts, we are on the "highway" the only road from south to north that can accept two way traffic

Walking north on the "highway" soon we pass by a jungle covered hill with a property on hilltop for sale ... May be your future home ?

The place I love to visit is several km north - hence I take one of the local tricycles that frequent the highway in both directions.

About 1 km before arriving at d'Mall I venture into the real Boracay Island - where real people live and love ... island natives who have been living here long before tourists arrived. By then they had a happy life all on their own - an island paradise just for a village in peace.

The social peace is long gone - rich society took at bargain prices what they wanted and the native population had to withdraw from all the beautiful places along the islands beaches

Dense lush vegetation on both sides of the dirt road reminds of the tropical nature of this beautiful island in the sun. It's mid afternoon and still hot - some 30+ degrees C.

Many local houses are fully integrated into nature to benefit from natural shadow of surrounding trees and bushes ...
|
The simple life also leads to far more healthy life style than most "first world" people ever can experience in their own country. Natural beauty and a peaceful society within is by far the most valuable - no money can buy natural living ones all planet is destroyed. The native society itself always has been peaceful and evolving without outside influence needed - God guides all inside their hearts. The only interruption of the natural peace was artificially created by politicians and businessmen.

Even if such houses look very simple - actually they are adequate for living. Real life and social life always is outside the house in nature, in the shadow of trees or amidst blossoming tropical bushes and flowers. A house only serves to sleep or store a few goodies needed for a happy life. Almost like in paradise in heaven!

We approach Bulabog beach - the opposite side from the island's White Beach and the wind is blowing stronger during this time of the year on this side ... A windsurfers and Kite surfers paradise.

On the way back toward d'Mall we find a "supermarket" amidst the native houses on the dirt road ... Such a small store offers ALL you really need for a happy life for all true daily needs.

A cockfighting farm - Philippines are a cock-fighting nation ... A bloody sport of utmost cruelty.
