I never asked Mario if there is any room for negotiation about the price - BUT - as an old business man with many decades of international travel and business experience I know for sure that having the FULL amount cash ready to be paid always is the ONLY argument for an eventual price reduction. In general full cash always gives best deal in ANY business transaction!

This is a real project, a large resort / beach front property on one of the world's most famous islands. Hence this is no situation to ask for downpayments, monthly payments or any hobby investor deals! Either you HAVE that amount in cash / fully secured or you should stay within your current limits rather than thinking about soap-bubble / obscure and insecure financing.
