Cordillera Mountain views between Sagada and Baguio

Cordillera mountains - a large high altitude mountain region in Benguet province between Sagada and Baguio and far beyond. The cordillera mountain region is growing finest vegetables, strawberries and abundance of most beautiful roses and exotic flowers. Cordillera mountains in northern Luzon, Philippines are up to 2800+ meters above sea level.

Also part of the Cordillera mountains is the Banaue rice terraces region, Sagada and Baguio itself. The vegetation varies a lot - from dry mountain regions around Sagada, to totally fertile paradise like food treasure in Banaue, Benguet vegetable farms producing the famous "Baguio vegetables" and the flower plantations around Baguio.

Note that these pictures have been made about in the middle of the dry season. Rainy season is far more cloudy and the sky often covered days and weeks with heavy dark rain clouds. The majority of Cordillera mountains is in the clouds and rain is frequent even during dry season. Sunny days offer a beautiful clear blue sky with sometimes excellent distant views, from certain areas down to the ocean!
