Christmas in the Philippines is a Christmas of love, a Christmas of the heart and soul

Christmas in the Philippines may be far more simple than in most other Christian countries - specially Central Europe or USA - however Christmas in the Philippines may also be far nearer to true Christmas - it's a Christmas in the hearts of people rather than in the banks of business men and industry.

while in the "first world" many children may get virtually "flooded" by gifts - many children here are happy to go out once with their parents and drive a rental bike for a short while. only the very richest may own one ...

and yet most kids here appear to never miss such toys - they look far more happy when playing their own self created games with their fellow children from neighborhood or family members ... they smile when playing with children rather than playing with objects ...

why ?

children have a heart and can love

objects we buy and give are death

neither heart, nor love

but many times such toys cause more frustration and anger when stopping to work than they cause true lasting happiness

and after a while objects always become boring

children grow

their creativity also grows

so do their games - modified and *upgraded* according to their own soul's growth and need of playing partner
