Street dancing in Baguio - it's flower festival time - time for colorful street dance competition in a flower inspired costume and flower decoration all over the Panagbenga 2008 scenery of Baguio City.
Dancing is an innermost human desire - dancing is heavenly, because of course in heaven we all dance. The younger the children in the Philippines - the more natural their dances. The older or the more "educated" dancers are, the more the natural beauty of dance moves gets lost. Dancing as a social activity is cared and maintained in most cultures around the world. In some countries or cultures, the dances are more emotional, more sexy, in other cultures dances resemble more war-like rituals ... between husband and wife !!
While the majority of street dancers of course are girls - girls need males to spice up their dances and thus we see many mixed street dance groups and traditional dancers from remote mountain provinces of the cordilleras.
