Happy smiling children. Growing up in nature makes kids strong and healthy. Thus a few kms walking on the daily path to school makes happy smiling children. Instead of playing computer, kids here play nature and have real fun. On my way down this jungle path along the mountain creek, I met a little girl, may be 8 yrs or so walking down to school with her father. That is normal and fun. Instead of fat little kids you have strong and healthy children. Again a measure of health care and disease prevention free of charge. Myself as a small kid, I had 3 kms walk to school through forest along a creek and I enjoyed it every day! Try to have your kids walk to school instead of driving them, or having them take a school bus.

I have been using this and many other natural bath tubs for up to several years in my life and never missed shower or other modern stuff. The water here is drinking quality - can you say such from your tap water ? Most may negate, because most tap water is polluted and only for simple washing.

Island population lives from the rich resources the ocean and island nature offers and exchanges the most valuable resources and sea food against the few things needed. Hence here and there a fisherman may have a boat for transportation of supplies or visitors of the islands.

Boating often is family business - sons start early to join their father and usually are excited to be allowed aboard father's boat. Hence young men learn early to do practical and useful work to survive in life.

In cities we have nothing of true value that could be used in exchange for a home or vacation on such remote paradise islands - but on these islands people have something we all need:

Peace, healthy and clean nature and most importantly food!

All world could live without technical stuff for millions of years but no one can live without food more than a few days. Hence who is in the better position or stronger position - the high tech world or the nature world ? Of course the latter world is durable and hence much stronger than our "civilizations".

Romantic island locations like these have a built in granted peace to enjoy freedom and love. Too far away for rich ones, apparently too difficult for authorities to molest you and bother your peace or take your freedom. At places so far from cities - people have chosen a beautiful life among peaceful, hard working and loving neighbors but far away from locations suitable for the money society to push them away into slums.

While such island habitants might appear far from "civilization" - they surely always are near to God - a proximity that no money can buy and a luxury most rich ones in cities have lost centuries ago.

When I compare the happiness of these local fisherman to families in cities, then it is quiet clear that all people here have all their basic needs and miss nothing at all in life.
