With an equally beautiful lush green jungle background - one of my favorite pink lotus pictures so far. This now is the best lotus flower season with fresh high lotus plants and beautiful large new lotus blossoms every few days.
You just need to know when to be where. Amazingly some of the huge lotus ponds are nearly empty of lotus blossoms but filled with lotus leaves only.

About 1,80 meter high rice plants in a rice field surrounded by jungle. This are by far the tallest rice plants I have ever seen anywhere.
In Cambodia in general all rice plants are stronger and taller than inn the Philippines and all other countries I have seen so far. That is because almost all rice fields are mixed with wild jungle or jungle like wild growth. Such wild growth directly surrounding your plantation is like herbal medicine for any culture properly done. Wild nature and jungle keeps the soil healthy and well balanced as well as all plants strong and free of any illness or insects.
These farmers hve learned from God's jungle and the result is such beautiful rice to harvest.

Densest jungle around a tiny pond. Many such beautiful jungle sceneries can be found around Beng Mealea temple ruins. The jungle is dense and small jungle ponds are found at several spots ofteh hidden inside dense jungle vegetation.

Edible purple water water lilies - parts of this water lily is used as food. Just like so many other food resources in Cambodia. Almost everything is either food or medicine or both.

A small lily pond belongs to each house in Cambodia. Some smaller like this one - some much larger with water lilies and lotus flowers. But at least each country home or small farm house has a pond as a water storage for the coming dry season.

All small farms needs at a glance - water or a pond, some wild shrubs and trees like a little private jungle and a few fruit trees and flowers directly surrounding the farm house.
The small wilderness is the life and health insurance to keep all family healthy and strong. The life force of wild plants, trees, shrubs and jungle is like a radio-station radiating its aura into the neighborhood and all family living inside the powerful nature aura. Thus the immune system from all people and animals living inside such beautiful wild nature is day by day recharged and repaired / healed as needed to keep all healthy.

Every flower has its season to bloom - I love this brilliant yellow orange blossoming thorny shrub all over the country now ... of course in addition to many other flowers.
Cambodia always was and still is a very colorful country with millions of blossoms all year long. Even cities always have been enriched with thousands of blossoming trees and shrubs.

Many different shrubs all inside each other - yet in full harmony like a big hugging family. Today's queen is the orange blooming thorny shrub. Another month another shrub has its blooming season.
This well organized "mess" looking combination of shrubs all inside each other shows the opposite of mono-culture as so often practiced in mass production oriented modern farming. Nature as made by God can live without fertilizer and without any pesticide or other chemicals, yet all is healthy and strong for thousands of years and beyond.
