Farming is one of the oldest home-business - farming includes manifold other work that typically is done on a farm. From growing herbs, flowers and spices, growing construction wood or producing wood carvings or furniture there are many other job opportunities on farms such as bakery, guesthouse or pension houses, tourist services, health services and many more. Activities that require nature as a key environment are easily done from a countryside home or small farm.

Farming and living countryside however requires far greater qualifications than most office jobs or factory jobs require - far more than most high tech jobs or IT jobs require. Hence if you dream of a life countryside - then you may have to go thru a several decade long apprenticeship unless you have been lucky by your karma to be born on a farm and spend the first few decades growing up countryside amidst farmers and experts knowing how to work in and around nature in a healthy and truly loving way.
