Construction of houses - all selfmade without machines

If you love alternative life style and a happy life in remote nature, then you have to be prepared to do all work on your own, sometimes all alone, sometimes with friends but most of the time without machinery or if then only simple machines you may have to operate and own all on your own.

Hence while construction is much cheaper, work may be more difficult - but - you have time because in nature time is free as long as you have your fields and a regular harvest to live from. To construct your own solid brick house may require several weeks or even a few months. Considering the extra efforts needed, it really is advisable to think twice how big or better how small your home really needs to be for a happy life.

In nature, specially in moderate climate - tropical or subtropical - most of your life will be outdoors. Indoor only serves for night time sleeping or for storage of a few imtems such as a laptop, etc. That's why most of the homes you see in my Philippine albums are tiny compared to USA or Europe based homes. People here are much happier than families in the so called "first world". Happiness depends on love and never on matter as long as all basic needs such as healthy life, daily food, etc are met for all.
