Humans are social beings - humans love to socialize
To have friends and loved ones near by is normal human behavior - hence humans love to live in groups, villages amidst all best friends and loved ones.
Cities offer a number of friends needed by each individual. But how many best friends do you really have and thus need ?
Do you need the hundred thousands or millions living in your city ? How large is the number of true best friends you meet regularly or invite regularly - each week or several times a months - to your home? If you are true to yourself then you may count a dozen or so of true best friends. Best friends meaning those few who know ALL about you. The ones you share absolutely all your thoughts, fears, adventures, your past and your future plans - even your "sins" ...
Hence the modern ever growing sizes of cities by far has exceeded the need of a single human to be happy. Cities serve political and economical purpose but are of no human value at all.
Return back to a healthy size of cities or villages. Have the courage to migrate to natural areas of beautiful nature and plenty of potential job opportunities. Jobs to be seen and created by you. Farming combined with ecotourism, farming combined with technical jobs, farming combined with inventing, farming combined with teaching and learning, farming combined with any other exciting work you love to do amidst your friends and family members.
Most importantly for all life is to live in a healthy natural environment where all can be amidst all their kids and friends. Life like in the mountain valley in this photo need no car, no public transportation, even no telephone to contact or visit their loved ones. Its all within easy walking distance. Hence its all green - environment friendly - but healthy, happy and adventurous and most importantly affordable by all.
A home here is paid cash. A house here is usually done with a few friends by the owner of the house. All repair and maintenance is done among friends. That's what best friends are for - to help each other, to be useful to each other, to contribute to the happiness of each other without the need for bills, invoices, accountants, banks. Humans among humans - socializing each and every day. Dancing and singing while working at home. Producing or offering valuable services to the entire community and beyond to have value to exchange with others - visitors or suppliers.
