Cashew - Anacardium occidentale L.

A fruit as seen in this photo consists of 2 parts. To the left the brownish extension is the actual Cashew nut in a shell - hence the seed ( nut ) is outside the fruit. On the right side is the Cashew fruit - called Cashew apple.
