Freshest fruits, best quality and most honest method to do agriculture always is to buy directly from the original producing farmer. Farmers are one of the most underpaid and yet the single most important job on earth. No farmer means no food. We all can leave millions of years without cellphone, without car, without TV or fridge, but no single person can survive without food.
Selling on plantations or farms allows for reasonably higher prices for the farmer and yet in most cases lower purchasing prices for the end consumer.
