When you really want to enjoy sailing, then you go with the pirates - Boracay's Red Pirates are known as the best sailing in Boracay. Located south of station 3, just some 100 meter before the beach road ends you find the small Red Pirates operated beach bar and the red sailboat with the famous pirates flag.
Joey - the Red Pirate's Captain is on Boracay island since 1988 and a most experienced, always friendly and always smiling head of the pirates' crew of well trained seamen.

Back in March/April 2006 I once was sitting in Cafe del Sol, enjoying a strawberry cheese cake and ask my neighbor "what is your preferred food place on Boracay island?" ... I expected any well known restaurant but very spontaneously he replied "Red Pirates". I know the Joey and his Red Pirates since a few years now for his extreme smiling friendliness and excellent sailing in all weather conditions, but I never was aware of his beach BBQ reputation.
