Lack of rain results in colorful leaves

Almost like in late fall when all leaves turn colorful before falling - here in the last week of the 5+ months lasting dry season all trees are quiet dry and many trees have no more leaves.

Just a day later the first repeated and heavy rain started to initiate the rainy season. A few weeks later all trees start to grow new fresh green leaves and all islands will be covered again by rich, lush tropical growth.
