Boating for young men

Boys here go early to sea - and come back as men. 6-8 ears is usually the age to start going to explore the ocean, catch fish or lobster and learn the winds and waves. Some spend most of the night at sea like their fathers do. All on their own - just growing up kids and God. How much more fun is that compared to the constant supervision by parents and police we have in so many western countries ?
