Lucky morning sky - blue all the way. Depending on your geographical location, you may have fog, haze or clouds on a regular basis early morning. For me the most important additional factor in nature photography, specially nature sceneries or landscapes alway is a blue sky.
Flower pictures may be even more beautiful if your sun is partially reduced behind soft thin layer of white clouds to make your light more diffuse and the shadows softer. In flower photography you seldom see the sky. But in nature scenery and nature landscape photography a blue sky vs a gray cloudy sky makes a huge difference.
